  • Before Aaron Rodgers was a first-round draft pick then being Brett Favre’s quiet backup, Before being an two-time MVP and a five-time Pro Bowler. Before becoming the hail Mary king, Before the discount double check, Before holding the Vince Lombardi trophy and Super Bowl 45 MVP trophy. Aaron Rodgers was a skinny undersized kid in north California contemplating if he should hang up his football cleats and abandon his childhood dream.
    Aaron attended Pleasant Valley High School. In his two years as the Vikings’ starting quarterback, Aaron Rodgers passed for 4,400 yards. He set single-game records with 6 touchdowns and 400 all-purpose yards as a senior. He sent his highlight tape to many programs but was instantly rejected.
    By the summer of 2002, before his first season at Butte, the late-blooming Rodgers had grown some more. Rodgers played that season throwing for over 2,400 yards and only four interceptions with 26 touchdown passes. He led them to a 10-1 record, a NorCal Conference championship and a No. 2 national ranking. Rodgers was eligible to transfer after just one season at the junior college level because of his good grades in high school, so in 2003 he made the trip from Butte to Cal.
    Over the 2 years at Cal He threw for 5,400 yards, 43 touchdowns and 13 interceptions during two seasons before declaring for the draft.
    Rodgers spent his rookie season in the shadows of Brett Favre trying to gain as much knowledge as possible from the Vet. The packers end up 4-12 his rookie season. 2011 Rodgers set numerous NFL records in 2011. Rodgers finished the season with 4,643 passing yards, 45 touchdown passes, and six interceptions.
    Green Bay has been where he has and won a Super Bowl (2010), two league MVPs (2011 and 2014 , and has paved his way into the record books.
