I have a starlight 2. Its not tight cos to have to pull it tighter pal. Once it is pegged down tight on each corner it can stand 90mph winds . Happy camping pal
I believe so, I will be taking my starlight 2 out for some more camping soon, I didnt like it at first but it has over time grown on me. Not a bad tent at all for sure. 👍
@@residentoutdoors2303 I've only used mine once but iam out on Dartmoor this weekend and my first impression was it is a sturdy tent but gonna replace the pegs as they are sharp as F#$k lol
@@marcjeffreypresents I will be out as soon as I'm back on dry land, although my initial thoughts weren't great on this tent after several uses its proved to be a cracking tent. Have a great time on dartmoor 👍😁
Hi, the meal was brilliant, food tastes even better outdoors for some reason. I would say you could easily cook in the vestibule area no problem, there is plenty enough room.thanks for watching 😁👍👍
Hey good to see you back and that you are feeling better again. I did wonder what new tent you would have. I re-bought the Berghaus on Monday. By Tues was sold out everywhere. Check you out new tent. Cooking steak... Don't change your format though I think your videos are unique down to earth watchable. I bet loads of people bought the Berghaus thanks to you. It's a little tent. But I had to re-buy it as handy to have. Did you keep yours? Or sell on?
Hi. Thanks for your input 👍 .. i definately think sticking with the berghaus is a good call..no two ways about it.. i think if anything i should have gone for a peak pro 2. I guess its all down to personal preference. The berghaus 3.1 is a belting little tent though. When you weigh up the cost and what you get for a tent its a top bit of kit.. its a tight solid little tent.. i can vouch for that as it has provided shelter for me and stood up to some pretty miserable and harsh weather with no dramas whatsoever. . . As for the steak.. well.. all i will say is i'll most definately be cooking more garlic butter steak in future.. soooo good. I could eat it right now all over again..
@@residentoutdoors2303 Ha it's a handy little thing. Can put it up in 2 mins and look like a tent erecting pro! Lightweight and small so perfect for travel. I have these wild ideas I might go backpacking around Europe (I prob won't). For wild camping will use it with a lightweight tarp. I have a few tents. Different ones for different events. Same day I re-bought that tent. I also bought a mountain tent 4.5kg! But it will be a great hard winter tent. I wouldnt want to be carrying that weight all the time. Berghaus is a bit like that. Has its uses and niche market. One nighters. Minimalist lightweight camping. Going to a party in a field and might not make it to bed anyway. Wild camp in winter when pack weight is up Lots of uses. It's one to hang on to for sure. Pleased you are back. I like your videos. Have watched them all. From you under the tarp getting drunk, to when you first got your Berghaus. Your enthusiasm always came across. Only TH-cam channel I have watched your footage many times. I thought of getting the naturehike mongar 2. But would prob be freezing with that mesh inner. Anyway glad u are back. Will be good to see your future adventures!
@@niksgee3538 your definately right there.. berghaus 3.1 has a specific use. For something lightweight, quick to pitch and a small pack size.. i have pushed that tent to its limits thinking it would fail and it held out more so than i expected. Its funny you mentioned getting a winter tent.. as that was next on my agenda.. i'm currently reviewing and trying to make my mind up on a high altitude mountain tent for winter that can handle snow loads and strong winds.. i've narrowed it down to two.. around the same weight as what you have bought being just a little over 4.0kg which as you say is a hefty weight to carry.. and its suprising quite how quickly your pack weight builds up .. but certain tents needed for specific situations.. Thanks for following and watching my videos . Im happy that i can share what i enjoy doing with others. So your comments very much appreciated 👍. Matt.
Great vid Matt 👌. Stunning place for a wild camp mate. The steak looked perfect. Cheers for the shout out dude. You got my channels name spot on. Thanks for sharing Matt. Atb Sconja 👍

DUDE!! Welcome back. I was worried you'd given up on TH-cam ! Im a bit surprised you got a new tent though bro< I bought my Berghaus based on your recs. Although, that Robens looks proper comfortable like.
Hi.. yeah thats me back out and about again.. i got a new tent as i wanted a little more space inside.. i still prefer the berghaus tent though.. the robens is ok. But i feel like the berghaus is a much better tent overall.. still a top night out camping though 👍

Food looks amazing, tests not bad either. Do you think you could cook in the vestibule or too small?
