In part 2 of how to buy a good used 500cc Royal Enfield I go into the models year by year from 2009 up to 2020 Here is part 1. • Royal Enfield Classic ...
One of my earliest memories Warro was the sound of my uncle's Brit single (AJS/BSA?) as he set of to work...and there was the sound at the start of this informative vid.
Warro you are a wealth of information and that is really handy. I have only just started looking at smaller capacity bikes after riding all sorts of larger capacity classic looking bikes. I actually am wondering how comfortable taller people find the RE350. Keep up with the great new content and get well quick.
well speaking of tall - back in 2013 i sold m first bullet 500 to a guy who was 6.6" on the other hand if the 350 is too small for you the 650 interceptor should be fine lus one can buy bar risers if required. i had 2 x 650 int and they were great bikes
Thnx for that Ive often wondered about the “variants”. Ive a 2019 Bullet trials with missed gears.. to be clear you are suggesting pulling the shifter off and sliding a washer over the shaft before replacing the shift lever.?
that what we did back then. some bikes it worked well on and removed play in the shifter shaft and helped in the gearchange side so i think its worth a try.
thanks for the info. much easier to do this i think than try and risk a bike ride...lol part 2 sown and one to go. not sure which way to go -either cb500x or honda ct125 trail all the best. cheers!
Very concise info on spotting the variants, Warro. I'm noticing just now that B5s and C5s are listed on FB Marketplace for a few thousand $ more than I bought mine for 3 yrs ago ex-dealer, even with 10kkms+ on them. But the 350s are losing value almost worse than 500 statutory write-offs. Interesting to watch and see if it becomes something or is just a few dreamers. Keep them coming. Cheers!
yeah i think its a i dont want a 350 and rather have a 500 thing...lol either way i have no issues with the 350's but i would like to see a "J" motor 500 hopefully the next ride i take will be on the new nmax scooter i bought near 3 weeks back. its been sitting under the verandah since the dealer dropped it off...lol all the best!
thats more luck or being there in the early stages of the UCE range of bikes. they were flawed pretty well when new and i have numerous fixes for those interested in knowing. all the best!

sounds pretty good that 500. only running a cheaper sports muffler too
Good info Warro, thanks. Edward
that answer was for the other guy...lol anyway great to hear yu liked clip two on buying a 500. all the best!
Hi Warro. I'm interested in hearing your views on how the old Classic 350 compared to the 500.
i had 2 of the 350 carby uce's. a black and a white one. the white actually looked pretty good

@@grandadsfishingboat7455 nothing to lose and well worth trying
Maxe me wonder why they didn't make the J series a 500 cc?
if so i think that would have been a very popular bike. i'd bought one myself
All good Warro. You are well-equipted to do this series. Vitamins and water are good meds to help you get well sooner. All the best.

All good info here, Warro! My local dealer's got a 2016 Euro 3, only done 7,500 km. Very tempted, but no space in the yard!
good year too. that's the year i picked in clip 3 as what year i'd buy. clip up later today
