    I really enjoy my rephr brushes, im so happy that I own the #6 brush because it’s amazing. I’m looking forward to seeing what new styles they’re going to release in the near future. Thank you for sharing your reviews.

    Might pick up on 1,2 and 22. That god darn bronzer brush! It’s been haunting me forever 🤣. I feel it’s gonna be too big but still want it. I’ve been doing well with my self control so far this year but then this month boom!! I want every fude 😅. Thank you for the video as always 😊

      @Sartika BS My pleasure! The 22 is such a great brush! It doesn't apply in that large of an area if you use it on the side ;) Haha, I know what you mean by self control going out the window. Spent so much with CDJapan lately XD

    I always appreciate your input!
    The rephr brushes have a unique place in my collection precisely because of their denseness. I love cream products and they work really well with those formulas. 04 for cream blush - a dream! Also they are the first brushes that really elevated my eyeshadow game.
    I got all the rephr brushes except 11 backing their kickstarter. Eventually I got the 23 and 24 - the latter was one of the softest of all my rephr brushes together with 04 and 17, and they all seem to be getting softer with every wash somehow?! Maybe it just seems that way because of blooming and being used more frequently, though.

      @dvaskepott My pleasure and thank you so much for sharing! So glad to hear you're liking the brushes and that they work well with cream products. I'll have to try the 04 with cream blush :D
      Wow your 24 is the softest! That sounds awesome. What do you wash them with? I'm using Takeda's soap and baby shampoo. Maybe your water is way better than mine!

      @@FudeKyun Yes, I love to use it for foundation, specifically thinner formulas. I'm not much of a buffer though, I swipe and lightly stipple in a downward motion. Almost all foundation brushes poke me if I use it straight on. But I do find it even more pleasant than my Fu-Pa 02. I feel like a good foundation brushes nearly impossible to find?! It's so incredibly subjective, kind of like the mascara of the brush world. I'm excited to see what Sonia G is conjuring up, though. She's releasing an updated Base One and also dropping a different type foundation brush in the near future it seems!
      I actually used to use a norwegian soap with juniper scent, I was really pleased with it, but found out it had wheat protein and I don't want to risk any build up! I think I might be switching to soap de Marseille.

      @dvaskepott You use 04 for foundation too? My 04 doesn't feel dense enough for foundation. Yours must be denser because I can't imagine stippling with it. Yes, so interesting to hear about people's application techniques and preferences! Maybe you can try using the Fu-Pa02 on the side instead of with the brush tips straight on? I did that with the Fu-Pa07p. Yea, I like the round flat top and rounded top foundation brushes the most (especially synthetic) but they kind of poke me now. Still think they perform the best. Cool about the updated Base One!
      Maybe the wheat protein is what makes it so soft lol. I used an olive oil savon de Marseille years ago but it made my bristles squeaky clean which was a bad indicator for me. Hopefully it works better for you!

      @Fude Kyun I can get away with it if my skin is behaving. Any texture what so ever and I don't stand a chance with the 04. I know, right! It's part of what makes fude so exciting!
      Same for the dome shape. My fav in the olden days was zoeva face shape but now it's way too pokey for my fude-spoiled face.
      I hope not! Time will show though. I have washed them a few times with a basic hand soap, hopefully it has clarified them a bit. I'll skip the soap de Marseille then, I really don't enjoy that squeaky feeling either! The search goes on...

    Hi again! You said you washed the bronzer brush a few times to get the conditioner off. Do you typically add conditioner after determining softness?

    • @FudeKyun
      @FudeKyun  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mi'el Blanquea Esquivo Hello! I don't add conditioner afterwards since I try to judge the softness based on how they should feel without the conditioner it came with and not usually on new brushes. If you need to rejuvenate the hairs for any brushes that feel dry, it's recommended to use either your finger oils or a drop or two of camelia or olive oil rubbed well into your fingers to massage the bristles. I would only do this for brushes that feel extremely dry.

    I love the Nars palette you used at the beginning of the video to demonstrate one of the brushes, which brush would you recommend to get the most impactful result as a cheekbone highlight ? I have this palette and it is my favorite but I have trouble getting the payoff I would like sometimes ! :(

    • @FudeKyun
      @FudeKyun  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Sunset and Moonlight I usually use it with a dense, short round tapered brush like the Hakuhodo J5521 or Nars Small Brightener. I did also try three other brushes with the Nars palette for you on my arm. I've posted it on my Instagram (instagram.com/fudekyun/) with a video. I think you would benefit from the Chikuhodo Passion PS-3 the best: www.cdjapan.co.jp/aff/click.cgi/PytJTGW7Lok/5744/A233954/product%2FNEOCHD-68
      Hope this helps!

      @@FudeKyun I am so grateful to benefit from your knowledge and extensive collection to see how I can get the most use out of this palette, it really is a brilliant Nars product and a gem in the realm of highlighters, I wish they kept it in their permanent collection :(
      Thank you so much for your help and taking the time to link everything for me that's so sweet

      @Sunset and Moonlight You're very welcome! I'm glad it was helpful :) I really like the PS-3 with the formula. I remember the palette was all the rage when it was released. It's a pity they don't have that formula in their regular lineup! Fortunately they consistently release new palettes which means we'll hopefully see something with this formula again soon.

    I washed some if my fude brushes and noticed the texture changed and the brush hairs were drier and scratchier. Do you have any suggestions on a good brush shampoo and how I can soften the hairs bring my brushes back to life.
