This has the best live concert quality I've seen in a long time
I do this for a reason: to pursue my goal as a camerman for sports or concerts. These are like practices for me until I get to my goal. Thanks for the comment. I'll be having more high quality concert

Sorry about responding two years later, but that performance was after like 3 hours of the slowest christian music.

When Skillet was at a winter jam near me,I was so excited when I heard that my church was going to Winter Jam.So of course I went with a huge smile on my face,once we finally got inside,There was no more seats left and they were closing the curtains to the seating places so no one was able to see inside.Most of the group were separated and didn't find seats. so we were in the hallways sitting on the ground,When the group I was with said they were deciding on leaving. And then I just started bawling my eyes out because I wasn't going to be able to see Skillet live. You have no idea how much this ment to me and how stoked I was to see them in concert for the first time ever. But one of the people in my group took me to find one of the adults who actually gotten seats and told me I can stay here with them while the rest of the others went home. Let's say that I had a great night that night. (Sorry I dont know why I'm sharing this XD)

Got to meet John and Seth. They are so, so sweet.
Of course, they are my most FAVORITE band ever, so y'know.
And I get to see them next weekend.

Great video bro.The 1st 10 Skillet east cost WinterJam performances were the loudest Arena concert shows ever.117 to 129 decibels loud. But when they came to Des Moines the base and volume were reduced.due to people complaining how crazy loud they were.Those 1st ten concerts felt like you were in another world just so awesome.

I loved winter jam so much
Skillet is my personal favorite band.Too bad they got rid of the awesome heavy base they had on the east coast.I think they would have done not gonna die. Awesome video.

I was here! It was awesome! Near the end, I walked with my dad down to the front stage, but the security guy wouldn't let us down. I wanted to high five John so bad! At least I got the rise and comatose comes alive albums!

I was there in Sacramento last year when there were here and I was going nuts and cheering and jumping and just being out of control!! I had fun though.

One of the last concerts with Johnathan Chu, I got to see them in Portland around the same time. They are still a great band, but it's sad to see the style change without the violin.

I feel like the west coast doesn't get as good experience as east coast. I saw them on the 2015 east coast winter jam and they were amazing. They're opening (which if you would like to see is posted on my page) was amazing and show stopping. Our opening has tons of pyro technics which is how I like to see a skillet show open. This lacked that. The opening felt rushed in a way.

The first winter jam 2016 was tonight in WV
I went to Winter Jam in Fresno. It was my first time at Winter Jam, second time seeing Skillet. And they were good in 2008 when I first saw them and they are good now. They are the best Christian band.

I went to the Portland concert, after watching this, it was pretty much the same, only problem is they didn't play "Not gonna die". Which is my favorite skillet song and has an amazing intro, I even know a few non Christians who got hooked on skillet by hearing this song.

+netballcell Well you have to remember they are a rock band, it's hard to sing like they do because it's really hard on their voices.

+netballcell If you expect any band to play a 45 minute set without any sort of back tracked vocals, then you sir must be some sort of god. Maybe heavy metal bands with mostly screams can do that but if you listen closely their vocal range dies throughout the set, and that is due to the fact they are over working their voice... Hence not utilizing the back track enough.. Skillet sounded very amazing this performance and put on one hell of a show, who gives a shit if they lip synced a few times. I'd rather hear someone sound good throughout the set than to hear a voice dying 20 minutes in... Go to any festival and you will know what I'm talking about.
Only person who can sing an entire live show is P!nk.

I attended winter jam that year in Jacksonville, FL, and I think the opened with Not Gonna Die at my show. Whispers was still in the set, but the opening was different

This is winter jam 2016 starting in 2015 which is winter jam 2015/16 and RED is suppose to be there not skillet, They already went to winter jam 2015 in January and February 2015
For the east coast but not for the west. So this time skillet came to the west coast.
but all the bands except skillet were from 2016 winter jam ?
This was Winter Jam 2015. Starting January or Feburary, Winter Jam 2016 EAST Begins. West begins in late fall or early winter.
+Cassie Myers what she said. lol Winter jam 2016 officially starts in 2016 in the East coast, with new Artists perfroming and same stage as west coast 2015. west coast 2016 in the fall will kind've have same artists from the 2016 east coast but we will have a new stage.

+TraumaDnB I went to winterjam 2015 in phoenix I have footage on my channel. but when I was there I noticed Jen did NOT sing in sick of it, maybe she was saving her voice they tour so much!! Ithey came here in 2014 and she did sing sick of it
