All the "firsts" have been emotional Christmas, his birthday, Father's Day. I knew they would be. The real hit was when I wanted to call him for advice about my car.😭😭😭 Oh my gosh. Idk if you're a religious person or not but rev 21:3,4 helped tremendously through my grieving. Give yourself time and don't let anyone tell you how long your process should take. It's different for everyone. ❤
If I was you, I would stiffen the hell out of it before blocking, block it and before you cut, sew wire into place so you can trim and it won’t fray. Make sure you bind the edge too.

I have a straw capeline like the one in blue and I want a more oval brim. Is it ok to cut it down or will it disintegrate?
