eh i see a variation of lancelot/roland np during the sword slash but otherwise the rest looks original. Kinda tired of people just accusing NP being “copy” of this and that. People are just stretching it too far
She reminds me a lot of the MC from Slayers and overall as other people have mentioned it really goes with a fantasy manga style, love the oversized sword and plate armor plus cape (reminds me a lot of Alucard from Castlevania).

Would love to see offical talks about the design process for Beast Nero being drasticlly changed to a gothic high fantasy bloodknight vs. Vampire-blood-bat from Arcades version. The more i think about it her Bloodknight version seems to be a counter-theme from her Venus form in the Fate Extra games. Her Venus form is more "angel-heaven" themed while this seems like a "hell-knight" theme. Odd choice or rather a clash of themes for her Beast version. I hindsight. Really odd why they didnt put Arcades version as Ascension 2 instad of Lilim in a dress. Alone for the theme of her story it would make more sense to transform from Arcades version to the Bloodknight instead of from Lilim to Lilim2 to Bloodknight.

On top off being the first 5star welfare who dont get any ascensions besides the final Art. So the theme of Nero 10+ year long story arc about wanting to be loved & finally accepting herself the good, the bad & the ugly/vile. With her dropping as the first Beast Class to be released. Its such a odd choice to not go all out showing the Lilim, Mother Harlot & Hellknight ascension as a theme. Instead of going Lilim, Lilim2.0 & Hellknight. Its such a weird choice to basically banish Mother Harlot Nero into a japan exclusive Arcade machine that may end up out of comission in a few years. Honestly i just want some insight into the thought process of the choices. Because it left me confused.

The simple answer is to subvert expectation, everyone was expecting mother harlot so they change it to he unique from the arcade
