The tyros 4 has this feature as well. And it autotunes your voice, so dont worey if you cant sing lol. You do need to set the vocal harmoniser up though to work with your voice otherwise it can sound weird
lol ... @ 7:10 ... notice the triplets with the quarter note and eighth note???? I believe those are suppose to be dotted eighth and sixteenth notes... BUT ... point well taken ... GREAT video guys!
I have one song, not as sheet in a song book and use the MIDI file for displaying notes and chords and the sustain pedal to "turn the page", it's a nice feature. The bad thing is, when I transpose the song, the chords stay in the initial tune. So I doesn't use this feature frequently.

good job , congratulations. I have noticed that some users of Tyros 5 can introduce melodic phrases and use the 2nd voices in style so impossible to perform live . I suppose that are pre-recorded . can you explain how it's done ? best regards
Well the new Korg Kronos with color touch screen and lots more new sounds and Artist sounds from songs to pick from and more, its powerful thats for sure 9Gig sample Grand and lots more.
The Korg Kronos does indeed have fantastic sounds. But it is a computer that has a keyboard attached, and a very steep learning curve. I spend as much time delving into the computer aspects as playing the music (good that I'm a computer tech) but it really takes away from the music experience.
I would like to buy MIDI from Yamaha Musicsoft. I chose highest quality available. When I play it, it's MIDIgasm. To prove it, press the little play button to preview the MIDI file to feel how MIDIgasm feels like.

What I would like to do is download a Midi file, transpose it in an easy key I like, then read the melody sheet music with chords in order to play it ('I will have muted the original melody line beforehand). I don't really care about lyrics... I think it's possible on Yamaha's Midifiles but what about the ones you download for free on the internet? Do I need a Tyros or would a PSR 970 do the job?
Every professional Aranger Yamaha works within this video: - PSR 1000 and so on - PSR S series - PSR anything looks like Tyros this - Tyros - Clavinova before about 700 which interfaces like this Tyros Clavinova after maybe 700 has whole new different interface! DGX has different interface and lesser feature Clavinova Smart Piano has entirely different interface as well. The interface uses iOS!
Please where to get/buy the good playable midi songs with accords in the score of my keyboard Tyros. I did try normal midi songs, but most time the notes are not place well on the note lines or even two left hands or much to low or to high to play normal with the song... so please do you have links where to buy or find theme for share maybee??
I have much pdf sheetpapers digital. is there an easy methode to play these sheets in the Tyros (maybee withh tv screen connection) so i don't have to print all papers. Sometimes it is not the song i thought it is and don't want to print and save all sheets. And another question... how to put big sizes of sheetpapers on the tyros.. :'-(

Just a note for the owners of an older Tyros. The Guide switch to turn it on and off is NOT in the screen menu but a separate button next to score.

This isn't a new feature. Lyrics and score with karaoke lines was on my old Yamaha PSR-S700!
