    So i was practicing this for a few days now but couldn´t get it right consistently. I even watched all the tutorials from the big card magic channels.
    But only after yours i immediatly got it down.
    The part with the index finger is a game changer and made it so much easier for me! Thx a lot

      You are welcome! I also struggled with this move for a while, before really taking the time to break down the subtilties

      Haha exactly the same here. Also the part of the index finger that I was missing and now it's so easy to do 😂

    This is the correct method the pinky count should be done, not much force is needed, the thumbs does the job, but sometimes with this method I got the count wrong, so I reverted to the "wrong" version (the pinky hurts :)) especially with old decks, but you are completely right in this video, good job!

    • @CardMechanic
      @CardMechanic  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! personally, I think the more important aspect is to get the right result regardless of method, so do what works for you!!

    Thanks Card Mechanic for the video! I knew how to do the pinky count but was still having some trouble with it. Your tutorial cleared up all confusion and now I can do the pinky count a lot better. Could you sometime teach us the dribble you do in your videos with the cards. I know how to do the dribble but am still having some trouble with the dribble. The cards go down in chunks sometimes when I try to dribble. Anyway, hope everyone's staying safe. I been praying for everyone! I know we will beat this! Road to 5K!

      I've always had trouble with the pinky count until I really took the time out to practice it, I'm glad I was able to help! I think I have a tutorial on the dribble somewhere on the channel, you can go and check it out!

    When i try to do a double lift with this i usually end up doing a triple or quadruple lift. Help?

    • @meatballemperors3784
      @meatballemperors3784 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That used to happen to me too. I just found that if you bevel the deck slightly more and create more tension with your thumb or your pinky, then you get them one card at a time. I used to blame the deck for being too clumpy but if you take your right thumb and do the same thing as the pinky would be doing, then it almost always comes out one card at a time. Hope this helps!

    Touched on something in this video that isn't acknowledged nearly enough.
    The pinky count is one of those moves that you're going to put a lot of time and effort into...and nobody should know that. It's a move that nobody is supposed to see.
    Kinda like the double lift. You put countless hours into practicing a move for weeks or months, and you want everyone to see. But... it's a double lift. The reason you're practicing is so they _won't_ see.
    If you wanna show off your moves, take up cardistry or get some magician friends to show off to. 😂
