That's my story. Was best in state meeting with NYC directors. Had it made. But God intervened. I was 19. Had been acting since age 9. I just went along with God's plan. I think he spared me.

I have listened to Kirk and Candace speak so often but never heard them mention anything specific about their other siblings. What an inspiring testimony she has on how God moved on her life, her husband and her whole family. I hope to read her book soon.

Glory to God. As Christians, when disappointments come our way, we have to be reminded that God is the Alpha and the Omega and He knows the end results of everything. Getting Hollywood looks often happens over time when you start becoming famous. People look different based on money, motivation, expectations, etc. If kurt and sister weren't famous theyd look a bit different. Same with her here. If she'd been famous she'd look a bit different. Maybe a lot. I like this lady- a lot.

Let’s be honest, Bridgette is now getting her 15 mins of fame being the “overlooked” sibling. The harsh reality is she’s not as attractive as Candace. Hollywood courts pretty people. Happy Bridgette is feeling “famous” now.
All families, to some degree, have the family dynamics inherent when some relatives are more successful than others. Her experience is not unique. The option for those with acting talent but not looks is character acting.

Shame on their parents for taking them to Hollywood. It is not a place for children. To put her through this disappointment must have been so demoralizing
I don’t think their family would be saved if it wasn’t for Kurt Cameron going to Hollywood. He was invited to church by a young girl from the set of GROWING PAINS.
Kirk Cameron has shared the gospel with millions since Growing Pains. He's partnered with Ray Comfort of Living Waters. God has used this family for his glory.
God had a purpose and plan through it all.
This world blows anyway.
