I grew up watching both “Full House & Growing Pains” today’s day in age have nothing compared to these two family shows. I loved 😍both shows!!!

His wife Chelsea Noble actually appeared on Full House as one of Jesse's girlfriends in season one. But I think it's sweet that Kirk really loves her and when he did Fireproof he was supposed to kiss the woman who was his wife and he refused. They shot the scene and took the woman out and put Chelsea in her place as he doesn't believe in kissing any woman but his wife, not even in acting.

I loved Kirk Cameron so much back in the day! Had a huge poster of him over my bed. Daydreamed about him all the time... I knew he was a good guy!
I remember a friend and I finding an address in Teen Magazine to write to Kirk. We sent him fan letters stating how incredibly cute he is. We never got any response but it was such a thrill to think he would personally see our letters and very nostalgic to remember spending weekends hanging his new posters in our bedrooms as kids!

Both are amazing shows that have a heart of gold. Granted life can't be wrapped in 30 minutes with a neat little bow, but the love was the driving point of these shows. Nowadays, were all too busy looking at phones & technology that we sorta lost our way to communicate. Could you IMAGINE if what we have NOW was thrown back to 1950's and what the 1950's had was thrown forward to this time? Both generations would be lost. Life was simpler back then and people knew how to talk to one another. We need to go back to that.
It brings back a lot of memories. I was a little kid when I watch Growing Pains, and that was a Chinese version. Time flies, but Kirk's warm smiles never change.

My favorites shows growing up. I m 52 now and they are my daughter’s favorites show growing up and she is 22 now. They don’t make shows like these anymore!!! We were blessed!
Don't forget " Who's the Boss ? " . These were the trifecta of good family shows on tv at that time. I watched them all and still enjoy the reruns 30 years later.
Who's The Boss and Punky Brewster were also my favorite besides GP and FH.
