    Love the way you explain everything as you play. Some people can't do that with the time controls. Thank you it helps to learn.

    Would be nice to have further explanation and/or a short lesson/talk on using 'light' stones... this is my big failing as a player - I completely understand in principle the importance of keeping stones light and being prepared to let them go, but it's hard for me to understand when it's appropriate to do so in practice. The two stones that you had early on which you let white peep through and you just gave up them up at 2:25, to my weak mind it feels like the last two moves were wasted, as you plonked down two stones just to let them die the very next moment. Of course I understand that's not at all what you've done, but nonetheless that's the instinct I have feeling it and I can't make much sense of how it's used.

      light stones can be pretty complicated. You have to look at more than just the stones but what you got by sacrificing them. I ended up getting a wall facing an area that I wanted to build because I sacrificed those stones. without him taking those stones he could have reduced easier and i would have not gotten such a big area. But if he went to reduce first, then he would not have gotten the bottom area that is also very big. So you kinda just have to compare the two areas that are being traded and count which is bigger. This takes a lot of practice.
