In a US Federal Court they don't grant bail on a Monetary basis. You could offer 1 billion but its not applicable ...as in Diddlers case and generally most if not all Federal cases bail is based on the assessment of / if a flight risk or not. There was also an additional assessment that Diddler could tamper with ( pardon the pun ) witnesses if bailed as he has previous form for that.
