Ive done everything you said aside from calibration & my apple watch still won’t pick up an f45 workout where my heart rate often goes above 190 yet it will sometimes pick up an outdoor walk where my heart rate is below 100??? Is it broken? How does it not pick up a workout when my heart rate is so high?
I have the same issue as well. The workout tracking in an Apple Watch is just not as good as in Fitbit. It doesn’t track heart rate perpetually, either. The only solution is to start a workout on the watch manually each time *sigh*
I've also done all these things and my Apple watch still doesnt auto detect any exercise aside from casual walking. Its extremely annoying having to tell it when you start an exercise and when you stop it. As a fitness tracker, my Fitbit was way better.
You might try going to the "Workout" feature in Settings, then go to "Auto-Pause" and move the slider to the OFF position. Not sure if this will fix it, but worth a try!
It' s not really "wrist detection," it is wrist "orientation," and you have to tell the watch what wrist it is on by going to Settings>General>Orientation, and selecting which wrist you're wearing it on.
I bought Apple Watch Ultra, the watch does remind me of a workout, only after I have almost finished it. Manual start of workouts? No, you can't do it when you ride a bike, then walk, then ride the bike back again using the manual, especially when you are wearing gloves in winter. It's not just that, it collects data of your sleep and lets you decide what they mean! Basically a useless watch, buy a Garmin instead.

you should not go beyond 190 if you're over 30. And 200 if less.

Where can I find wrist detection on my apple watch 7?.. Can you tell me?

This feature used to work on previous iterations, it does not work on Ultra. Kind of embarrassing.
I noticed that too, i've to trick it sometimes...
Do you mean it’s not working on any apple watch ultra?
Wrist detection section is inaccurate, wrist orientation is only option. It’s not even on screen in your video at 4:05 mark.
I opened my work out first, and my steps app tracked my work out but my watch didn’t. So then I recalibrated and it didn’t track
I literally click on outdoor walk it starts I go for a walk and it says I’ve done 0 meters

Why my apple watch didn't count my steps when my iphone is not with me?
Can you do an experiment on flights count on 2 story or up home please?
You mean the 'flights climbed' thing?
@@foxtecc Yes please. Stairs exercise at home stairs and not stairs machine.
Looks like they are charging to have that app now… can’t even open it
My wife is hating the switch from Samsung to Apple, trying Hrd to not say I told you so.
