Thedickiedooda sympathy is fine, but it must be tempered by an adherence to the law, risk evaluation and maintaining the the safety of every one else in the U.K.

If these isis brides were if not the people who did it groomed to join terrorists then these are likely aligned with those beliefs.

@@IRMentat I can't find any room for sympathy. As for the law, our government's priority should be to protect its people. If that means breaking international law then add us to the many countries that also break it. We as a nation do far more to protect and feed others than the vast mojority of our critics.

She wants the NHS to take care of Jihad Junior and the state to take care of them both and when he is older, she can relate the good old days of the caliphate. Counting the heads found in trash bins. On the 5:00 a.m. news this morning in Canada I heard of the parole of a jailed ISIS fighter who has been in prison here for two years. He is deemed “not rehabilitated and likely to commit acts of terror in keeping with his wish to bring down the west”. He is being freed ahead of the end of his prison term. This very important news was announced once and not again over this entire day. So if you’re ranking dumb and dangerous acts committed by countries, I think Canada is vying for the number one position.

By this I mean that within the home in which she lived she was raised to become that which she is now. An individual who adopts and lives according to a literal interruption of Islamic scripture. The US Code, Title 18, prescribes death, or a prison sentence of 5 years to life. Source en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treason_laws_in_the_United_States . So maybe that's a potential answer: if they want to return, then they should be tried for treason in Federal Court, and if they are convicted then they will have to serve whatever sentence the court decides.

The MSM are saying that another 12 "British Jihadi Brides" have turned up at the refugee camp after this case was announced. From the picture of the women, they are all ages. Apparently, her Dutch husband is still in Syria and in a recent interview she is considering the possibility of going to Holland. The British government has said that the grandparents can go and get the baby and bring it back to England, although she cannot return to the UK. Some aspects of this case doesn't make sense. Some say that she travelled on her sister's passport, however, in an old interview her sister said that they knew that she had gone when her passport was gone. So who is telling the truth? Her friends dad was also at a rally with an Islamic cleric that was finally deported, I find it hard to believe that the girls dads didn't know each other or what was happening. Her sister said that the police knew about it and so did the school prior to her leaving for Syria via Turkey. Yet nothing was done to de-radicalise her and stop her leaving? What about border control, why didn't they stop her leaving the country? I was reading a report last night on the Europeans that were radicalised, and they found that most of the "Jihadi brides" went for a relationship!!!!

If the Kaliphat she chose to make her home still existed, you might have had a point. But it isn't, it never was a recognized state, and the aim is to destroy it completely. At: 8:26 the guy to the left showed, what I would consider a total lack of understanding of the situation: He said, that Trump decision to pull out the troops aided to calm down the situation and brought peace.
For peace Isis had to be defeated. This was mainly done by the Kurdish fighters. The US troops didnt helped them much on the ground, where the Kurds had to do the risky job for them. The US troops were to view, to anxious and apart from the air strikes, their presence had only symbolic meaning. Trumps decision betrayed this allies of the US after they had fullfilled their duty: because it made it more likely for the turkish troops to invade and attack the Kurdish. Which would have let to more fighting and a new phase of the war. So actually Trump nearly started another escalation. And even for no reason: since they never fought, the US ground troops havent been in danger at all. And the financial costs of the more symbolic detachment have been marginal.
I am more or less against all involvments in foreign wars: to expansive, to much loss on human lives on all sides, no certain outcome, to long etc. This was the only involvement I was supporting: cheap, no loss on human lives, the purpose: the division of the two conflict parties, the Kurds and the Turkish, achieved, with an option to safely pull out in case the situation would get more dangerous....

I agree, I dont want her in the UK. I also agree that the argument that she was a child when she left and she was abused in a way has legs but the fact that she hasn't shown any remorse about it and her rhetoric seems to be very much that she wants to come back because the caliphate failed, not because she genuinely regrets what she's done.
Have you looked into the story of "Jihadi Jack"? That lads reasons for travelling out there do seem fairly innocent, albeit very naive by his own admittance, and the realisation dawned on him very quickly that it was wrong and that he had basically been groomed and lied to seems to be pretty genuine to me along with the lack of any evidence that he was an active fighter or took part in any killings etc. I think the government has missed a trick there as he seems to be a prime candidate for deradicalisation and could be a strong voice to deter people from doing the same in future.
**Disclaimer: I am a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and have a couple of friends who did travel out to Iraq and volunteer for the Kurdish forces in the fight against Isis, I seriously thought about going myself. I am in no way a "terrorist sympathiser" as I have been called in the past for voicing such views.**

Plus don't forget that she is no more a "victim" than any other person in her current country. The ONLY thing that sets her apart from the many other people who would deserve refuge status over her is that she was in a Western country and chose to join a terrorist organization. It isn't that I cannot see good arguments for why she should be allowed back, but in terms of being particularly sympathetic she is lacking.

I propose "splitting the baby" in a way. The children of western ISIS fighters are due citizenship rights from their parents but the parents are guilty of providing material support to terrorists. Both the parents and the children should have their citizenship honored and be let back in, but the parents should be immediately detained and charged, while the kids should be taken by social services and adopted to suitable families. Basically, these parents will have the ability to sacrifice their freedom, likely for decades, for their kids to be given a chance at a normal life--that is pretty much the extent I am willing to go for them.

the fact that this happened in east london should be the question of what is happening within east london and indeed the rest of the country that would cause a british citizen to go to syria to fight against their own country and expect sympathy whilst having no remorse on the terror attacks that have happened within their own country itself thinking of it as a eye for an eye.
cant see her having any sympathy for the families who lost their lives or friends lives in the aria grande and other terror attacks so why have sympathy for her here really.
considering the news that she is dual being Bangladesh as well and has had the citizen of British revoked the USA should ask the Bangladesh government about the situation with her and then ask if they would want her in Guantanamo bay instead of back in Bangladesh.
the fact they debated on her citizenship makes me question have they spoken to the family and checked what they have done in the past its as Ben Shapiro said "if i saw baby Hitler and could save him i'd save him because he is not Hitler" people become more corrupt due to the situations they are put through and is there something the family has done to help promote her join a worldwide criminal organisation. this clearly goes further than just herself
I wonder if the media has not said the name of the baby either out of the idea of the name may not suit British citizens names if it has the citizenship.

I was told that the reason why she was kicked out was becuase she had a Duel Citizenship, Both Sky, BBC and ITV said she had a duel citizenship when they dug her name out of the citizen archives.

Video thumbnails need to be different in each video or they'll be missed as already watched. Try not to have similar thumbnails, people have hundreds if not thousands of subscriptions making them easy to skip over and think you've watched it already. I'd bet views are down for this reason.

Amazing how much rejection of this young woman exists. She was a child and she did not have the prefontal cotex growth to even to begin to understand what she was doing. Why are we so quick to punish and condemn. She should be allowed to come back but should have to sign a contract that she gives up Islam and will sign up for re-education courses to become a real responsible citizen. I look back to when I was 15 and fully indoctrinated as a fundamentalist evangelical Christian and was willing to suffer martyrdom if it was necessary. LOL. Relax guys she has a rough life ahead regardless of her second and third thoughts. She could become a real advocate against Islam if she is treated as a human being ...as a child...with a child. Jeez.
