    Hakuho was not only the greatest wrestler but a tactician, strategist and an observer of his opponents strength and weakness. Only
    by using those traits could he have ever obtained such greatness and charisma.

    As a brand new sumo fan starting this year, I really only got to see Hakuho once, in the July basho. Even though I was cheering for Teru to win, it was an amazing experience to see the mighty Hakuho go 15-0. He just seemed to be leagues better than every other rikishi, and had a strategy to specifically win each bout. It was an honor to behold. I love hearing his insight on the other wrestlers now, thanks so much for this video, Chris!

    So cool seeing Hakuho give props to his adversaries. This man is the epitome of Boss status. Fans will only realize just how dominant and great Hakuho many years after his retirement. But Hakuho wouldnt be anywhere near the dominant champ he is if it wasn't for Ashashoryu and how hard he pushed him to be great.

    • @andreamantovani5354
      @andreamantovani5354 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So true. Asashoryu should be considered as great as Hakuho considering the small (yet immensely powerful body, the greatly adverse circumstances he had to fight against, the unfair treatment he got his entire career, him being the true pioneer for Mongolian sumotori, his shifting from a thrust suki guy to a belt fighter overnight in order to become great. An amazing fighter truly revolutionary for Sumo and paving the way for his little brother Hakuho to achieve something no one else would ever achieve
