Ngl salems theme is up there with some of the best villian themes, this was a banger. Definately in one of my metal playlists i actually have a metal rwby one.
Falkkone just doesn't know how to not release bangers, I saw he was starting up a RWBY kick, and I couldn't be happier. And Rena just keeps nailing the vocals too.
Easily one of the best songs they ever did for the villains. And MY GOD, I wish Salem was as Intimidating in the show as she is in the lyrics. Instead we get cinderella.
Oh come now, Cinder Fall is the evil Cinderella here. 😂 Cinder’s theme song, “When It Falls”, is one of the best villain songs as well. Fitting for the main villain of the franchise.
This is actually my first introduction to this song. It's amazing, as spected of this duo that I loved for so many years. But man, Imma go get a check to the original. Since I dropped RWBY haven't paid attention to its soundtrack, and that was top tier, if I recall.
@@vteccomplex Yeah. Since RWBY got heavy inspiration from BlazBlue, a franchise iconic by its legendary music (Thank you forever Daisuke Ishiwatari), shouln't be surprising to me that RWBY's music slaps!
The original is one of my favorite tracks in RWBY’s soundtracks, alongside Hero, I’m the One, The Triumph, Be Strong and Hit Stuff, Nevermore, and some of the other stuff from volume 5.
The show is great. Lots or people just seem to ignore half the episode and then make crappy TH-cam videos about it. But those are the loud ones, not the Majority. We love the show and you should absolutely watch it
My opinion on the show is that is has extreme flaws but if you can enjoy it past the flaws then it's a good show. I look at it like a guilty pleasure. At the very least the season 8 started improving upon the meh season 6 and REALLY BAD season 7. and that it has good music and always has, pre or post monty oum
One of my favourite songs in all of RWBY, and probably one that hits the hardest. You spend the entire finale of volume with baited breath, watching in despair as Pyrrha dies, Ruby is just a moment too late to help and unleashes a new power as all the traumatic experiences of that day reach their breaking point, only to learn that even with that new power she could hardly change anything about this major defeat, and the team is broken apart. As Ruby sets off to a journey to fight against a threat that is so much greater than anything she could have imagined, and the narrator from the first episode returns, revealing herself to be not only against humanity, but an actual physical entity within the world instead of just a voice existing beyond the narrative. As you lay eyes on the woman who looks like a combination of human and grimm and your head is filled with question, it may seem you are finally at the end, finally able to catch your breath after witnessing all of this... only for this song to start immediately, hitting you with the full force of drums and electric guitars as Salem starts blaming Ozpin for the deaths in a war that she started and makes her manifesto to crush humanity under her foot. Welcome to RWBY. The real show has fucking begun.
Volume 5 was great, 6 was ok I liked it but it was meh, 7 was interesting but a bit meh, and 8 was meh except for some spectacular moments. The plot has improved but the show still has a lot of room to grow
@@helvarstark4282 Wait, V5 was great? I mean, you're entitled to your opinion of course, but I have to say you clearly saw something in it that I didn't, because I strongly disagree. V5 was by far the weakest volume imo. They spent way too much time in the house just kind of doing nothing, and the final battle fell completely flat. Don't even get me started on the way Adam was made into a total joke and got taken out by a bop to the head of all things. That and the whole braindead "assassination attempt" on Blake's family that somehow included Ilia's redemption arc where *somehow* the power of friendship just magically gets her out of having to face any consequences for anything she did. It had a ton of tonal issues where they seemed to go back and forth, unable to decide if this is a mature show for adults or a lighthearted "power of friendship solves everything" show for kids. V5 had a couple of decent scenes here and there, but overall it was just not that good. That's just my opinion though. I'm glad you enjoyed it at least. 6 was pretty solid in the first half. A few bumps, but it was the best we'd gotten from the show since V3 ended. Problem is that the second half of V6 exists and my god did they drop the ball hard. In fact, while I do still consider V5 the weakest volume overall, V6 stands out more than it does simply due to the fact that you watch it just drop from being fairly good to being horribly written in the span of one episode, whereas at least V5 committed to its mediocrity almost right from the start. I agree with you on 7 and 8 though. Very meh volumes. 8 had some moments that were good but also a lot of dumb stuff here and there like the way they went about having Emerald switch sides, but 7 just kind of had nothing going for it really. Don't get me wrong, contrary to what I'm saying here, I actually don't hate the show. In all honesty, I really do want to love it. I've watched the show since the Red trailer first showed up on youtube, and I've watched every episode on release since. I genuinely believe the show and its characters have incredible amounts of potential, I just wish the writers would actually make use of it instead of squandering it. They've just put way too much of a focus on trying to pander to the shippers instead of just focusing on making a good story for the entire fanbase.
I liked 5, but maybe I’m thinking mostly enjoyment (especially after volume 4). The writing was ok, honestly I didn't mind it as much as people seem to. That being said, it was far from perfect, I definitely agree. 6’s beginning and end were great. The middle part felt like a lull. The lore dump in the third episode was the best fucking episode, in my opinion. 7 and 8 had cool stuff but were overall meh. I loved the fights (particularly Ironwood and Watts, RWBY vs. the Ace Ops, and Winter vs. Cinder but to be fair I love the maiden and magic fights), and seeing the Atlas military in action was awesome (despite the fact that they were shown using Napoleonic War era tactics mixed with trench warfare, like BRUH). I did like Emerald turning, that felt really nice and I’m all for it. The way it was written to me felt like natural character growth, but I wish we could’ve seen more bonding/trust building between her and the main characters. Otherwise I’m in agreement! The music is still glorious despite the writing shortfalls. I love the show too, even if I think the writing can be much improved. For instance, some of the fan fiction is written better than the show itself (see: "I, Jaune" or Coeur Al'Aran's works, both of which have better writing and lore exposition than the base material itself, oof), but I still love it. I definitely agree that the writers pander WAY too much to the shippers, it's fucking annoying not because I have anything against romance between characters Burt because you cannot microwave a character dynamic to lead to that in 2 episodes, lol. Relatedly, I actually feel like the world building is something they need to make more use of. I would LOVE to get to see more lore and world building done with some of the more practical elements, such as societal development, how the kingdoms were before the Great War and what changed, some of the more individual kingdom histories beyond the vanilla and boring ones we got in World of Remnant. "I, Jaune" fixes this wonderfully with how it solves the problem, RT's writers should probably take notes from that. I also want to see more Ozma/Ozpin, and more magic fights. Why not do a small spin off of Ozma's various lives like Fairy Tales did but with more focus on the man himself? I guess the problem here and common thread is that the writers do not make as much use as they should of cool characters like Ozma or the actually cool world they've built by ignoring world building and lore (until it comes to a lore dump).
@@damir_van_kalaz with volume 5 it does something that a lot of shows I see skip over, aka what characters are doing between main plot points which imo give it more value

Gotta love a RWBY Villain cover! Salem is probably my second favourite RWBY Villain, behind Cinder Fall. “Divide” is one of my favourite RWBY songs, so I’m glad to see you guys do it.
RED LIKE ROSES! FILLS MY HEAD WITH DREAMS AND FINDS ME! ALWAYS CLOSER! TO THE EMPTINESS AND SADNESS THAT HAS COME TO TAKE THE PLACE OR YOU! (Sorry, just comes naturally to do that)
Just stumbled on this in my recommendation and It's been so long since i listened to rwby music and you guys killed it with this cover! Keep up the amazing work!
I have to say, i discovered RWBY when i see the Red Trailer on TH-cam. And in the beginning i don't give much for the serie, but now (even with the history fails) i'm in need of see how all will end. Also, good cover Falkkone. Keep doing well
Well this was unexpected, I have not yet heard the original song but this remix us really good, if possible could you maybe do "Bad luck charm" or "One thing" next? They would be amazing.
Love and enjoy the cover of this song, though it's my first time actually listening to it. That said, for once I agree with Salem and the message she's explaining through this song. While playing a game I "used to" enjoy, all I ever did was lose and nothing I did made any difference. Just goes to show that either I just was never good enough to keep playing, and/or I just couldn't take any more loss so I just flat out stopped.
Its much more enjoyable once it's realized that the whole song is a speech sent specifically to Oz about how he is sending everyone to their deaths in vain.
Although google translate pronounces it like she does, but if you google "pronounce allegiance" it doesn't. Maybe I am wrong, but it is a rare way to pronounce it anyway as far as I understand.
When I thin kof something that could totally handle the touch of metal it would be 'All Things Must Die' for the whole RWBY thing going on. I'm sure it'd sound so cool!
I loved this for the most part. My only complaint is the very last word. I loved the way 'burn' dropped down in the original. It spoke of a desire of vengeance that has burned for ages, and will continue to burn through countless more lifetimes. The way it pitches up here feels almost... whiny, I want to say? It'd fit a song that took place closer to the first confrontation between Salem and Ozma, but not for when this song takes place.
Honestly rediscovering the lyrics of this song, alongside just listening to more RWBY music again due to these covers in general just reinforces my view that RWBY should just been a series of basically music videos, the songs tell the story better than the writers do really.
Salem terrifies me and impresses me at the same time The way shes always so calm is terrifying but the way she does things is just badass She is literally always one step ahead Salem does the villain role amazingly well
After volume 6 was taken off TH-cam, I've been trying to search for "RWBY Jinn's Theme" every once in a while, and each time, a version of this song was the first result. Coincidence?
One of the best songs in RWBY! Good choice to cover this one! Loving all your covers!

You held "That flame" from 1:13 to 1:25
Jesus christ that's impressive.

“When allied together a threat men display, divide them with doubt it will all wash away.

It's also a paraphrase of her speech in volume 3 right before the song plays.

Does it feel good, thinking you've won
Thinking I'm all that remains
That your black, hand, eclipsed the sun
That all of my hopes were in vain
How does it feel
Lying to your own damn face
Thinking that this was the end of it
That you've snuffed out the whole human race
Bring your demons watch them fail
Have you not learned a damn thing all these years?
We always prevail
Standing together
We'll face down your blade
Try to divide us
Our hope will not fade
One spark can incite their hope
And Ignite the fires
Of their weary soul
You can't extinguish our flame
Come my Black King, bring your Queen
Let her stand, let her be seen
Come my guardians, one and all
Know that now we will. Not. Fall.
It was you who did this
Brought on the end of the world
For your mad, sick, and selfish needs
For the fears of a sad little girl
You've gone in-sane
You now live on instinct alone
See 'cause I've changed but you're still the same
You've got a black heart and skin white as snow
Bring your gods and watch them bleed
Heroes are rising
Your end's drawing near
Now repent your misdeeds
Legends and Fairy Tales
Scattered in time
It seems you've forgotten
In the end evil dies
The dark won't bring us to our knees
Our Kingdoms stand, and we will be free
Small souls will bring victory
Unite them!
Swords in the sky
Courage is forever, hope never dies
Unite them!
Turn up the light
Believe in each other, hope for one another
Courage will rise and you'll face your demise
I'll watch as you cry as you face your own lies
Once I was lost but now I'll do what's right
Because WE. WILL. FIGHT.

It came out to 11 seconds. Rena has to have some of the best vocal work out there.
Does it feel good knowing you tried?
Knowing that all that remains
Is the slow, cold, brutal death
Of the fools that will all die in vain?
How does it feel
Knowing your efforts will fail?
All that you've built will be torn down
The hope of your people assailed
Send your guardians, they will fail
Legends and heroes will crumble and fall
You will not prevail
Pre-Chorus 1:
When allied together, a threat men display
Divide them with doubt, it will all wash away
One spark can incite their hope
And ignite the hearts of their weary souls
I will extinguish that flame
Bridge:
Form your armies, dream your dreams
Make your plans and plot your schemes
Send your fighters one and all
Then in battle, watch them fall
Verse 2:
It was you who ended their lives
Made them to dig their own graves
With your dark, sick, cruel design
Convinced them their world could be saved
Have you no shame
Signing them up for your war?
Train them to fight what they can't beat
Your sins are what they'll pay for
Sacrifice them for your needs
Slaughter is coming, the end drawing near
You'll regret your deeds
Pre-Chorus 2:
Legends and fairy tales scattered in time
Maidens and kingdoms wrapped up in a lie
These children you mislead
You'll watch them all bleed
Strength will not bring victory
Chorus:
Divide them
Tear them apart
Sever their trust, it will strangle their hearts
Inside them
Plant seeds of doubt
Hope will be smothered
They'll turn on each other
Outro:
Hatred will sprout
Suspicion and doubt
Friendships deny while allegiances die
The taste will be sweet when you get what you've earned
And I'll watch you burn
Gotta love a RWBY Villain cover! Salem is probably my second favourite RWBY Villain, behind Cinder Fall. “Divide” is one of my favourite RWBY songs, so I’m glad to see you guys do it.
Always been one of my favourite RWBY tracks, so this is a pleasant surprise.
Nice to see your not just doing the vol 1 songs. It was good but I've heard those songs so many times
Blessed by Rena vocals 🙏🙏
What a marvelous choice this was a great song
i Just fell in love with Red like Roses ll today, and then i see another RWBY cover in my recommended.
Thank You
RED LIKE ROSES!
FILLS MY HEAD WITH DREAMS AND FINDS ME!
ALWAYS CLOSER!
TO THE EMPTINESS AND SADNESS THAT HAS COME TO TAKE THE PLACE OR YOU!
(Sorry, just comes naturally to do that)
At this point the only RWBY songs that I want to see Falkkone's take on left are caffeine and lusus naturae as he's done all of my other favorites.
Why not neon rainbow!?, you're no fun ~
Your both forgetting "Bad luck charm", that is what we need 100%.
I frigging love this theme! It truly feels villanous and hopeless and that's a brilliant thing for an evil-like character! Awesomely awesome cover!
I am living for all the RWBY you & Rena have been doing lately. Been a fan of Jeff & Casey's work since volume 1 & you do it justice.
Simply incredible, I would love if y'all did all things must die
Rena's voice is just beautiful
Just stumbled on this in my recommendation and
It's been so long since i listened to rwby music and you guys killed it with this cover! Keep up the amazing work!
Holy shit 2 new rwby covers
Can people use your Music on Videos?
Twinkle twinkle little star really hits different in this for some reason
RWBY had always had a stellar soundtrack for such a shite series, and you just keep ELEVATING these! I LOVE IT
I have to say, i discovered RWBY when i see the Red Trailer on TH-cam. And in the beginning i don't give much for the serie, but now (even with the history fails) i'm in need of see how all will end.
Also, good cover Falkkone. Keep doing well
This has always been one of my favorite RWBY tracks, and this cover is you guys' best RWBY one yet! I wonder if you'll do Bad Luck Charm 🤔
We need Bad luck charm, it would be a masterpiece.
An absolute masterpiece ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
170th Attempt:
MGR:R - Collective Consciousness
This must happen
bro i saw your 75th attempt on penumbra remix you are dedicated bro 😭😭
M8 you really want it huh?
Well sorry to say but it seems like we are on a RWBY road right now so you will probably be waiting a while.
Holy, that was a Long "Flame" if i've ever heard one, almost ten seconds. Good job! but make sure to get rena some water lol.
Well this was unexpected, I have not yet heard the original song but this remix us really good, if possible could you maybe do "Bad luck charm" or "One thing" next? They would be amazing.
Some OP Cosmic Narrator: "Hwut If... Rapunzel & Eugene, Got Divorced?"
I really like the way you covered this one i think it's the best one you've done for rwby keep the good work.
If we get Neo's theme out of this RWBY kick it's going to be an even bigger banger than this was I can feel it.
You know I had a thought about how cool it would be if Falkkone made covers of a ton of RWBY songs. Looks like we are blessed.
That hits hard
One of the best covers i ever heard. Great song!
1:11 This note, even after 2 whole years, still gives me chills.
omg I almost NEVER subscribe but you got one from me! I love these RWBY covers holy COW. this one was ESPECIALLY good!
im lovin all the rwby covers! keep up the good work!!
The lyrics never cover Salem's eyes. Neat
Este cover opaca con creces la canción original. Te felicito por esta obra maestra 😌
Este temazo se va directo a mi playlist
My favorite RWBY song... getting a symphonic metal cover... by one of my favorite creators...
Am I in Heaven?...
Just amazing and wondeful cover one again @FalKKonE I hope you do more RWBY covers if you do "Caffeine" and "War" I would be so excited to listen 🤩
Thank you falkkone and Rena
Very much works in this style
Its much more enjoyable once it's realized that the whole song is a speech sent specifically to Oz about how he is sending everyone to their deaths in vain.
If I had to nitpick, Rena pronounces "allegiances" wrong. Besides that - perfection.
Although google translate pronounces it like she does, but if you google "pronounce allegiance" it doesn't. Maybe I am wrong, but it is a rare way to pronounce it anyway as far as I understand.
and in the original it is pronounced the way I know it.
Thanks for amazin cover! Patiently waiting for "One thing". Hope to see your cover on it one day.
Great cover on Salem theme 10/10
The lyrics in this one are something else.
Having two RWBY songs back to back make me want Vol9 sooner
Three songs actually.
We had "This will be the day", then "I burn" and now we have "Divide".
This cover really makes you FEEL like RWBY - Divide (feat. Rena)
Holy fuck, so good. This song is so good for Rena's voice too, just wow
When I thin kof something that could totally handle the touch of metal it would be 'All Things Must Die' for the whole RWBY thing going on. I'm sure it'd sound so cool!
Please do "This life is mine".
One of the all time best RWBY songs
Salem 🛐
Thank you for your works on the rwby's song
You guys really need to send these to iTunes
This was next level 🔥🔥🔥
That intro reminds me of the start to a Legendary Pokémon battle
When I finished season 3 of RWBY and this song played I instantly loved it
Divide is one of my favorites!
Yes!!! Thank you!!!
GLORIOUS!
This sounds even better than the Original!
This is true Metal!
god I am just loving these.
Just trying to find a walkthrough for the divide for fallout this is good too
I loved this for the most part.
I f**king LOVE this
You guys just made heardable the RWBY ost (I need intensity)
It would be so amazing if you covered mirror mirror! I would probably cry tears of happiness for an hour
Honestly rediscovering the lyrics of this song, alongside just listening to more RWBY music again due to these covers in general just reinforces my view that RWBY should just been a series of basically music videos, the songs tell the story better than the writers do really.
Nobody cares
Salem terrifies me and impresses me at the same time
The way shes always so calm is terrifying but the way she does things is just badass
She is literally always one step ahead
Salem does the villain role amazingly well
After volume 6 was taken off TH-cam, I've been trying to search for "RWBY Jinn's Theme" every once in a while, and each time, a version of this song was the first result. Coincidence?
I mean, this isn't 'Jinn's theme. This is Salems.
It certainly seems so, but since when is everything what it seems in RWBY?
Epic song! Nice choice
perfect cover, nothing to say here
Jaw dropped listening
This Song sounds much better then the Original. Can I Request a Heavy Metal Cover for Trollhunters Theme Song Please
