I just ordered the CD. I think I may have had it on cassette years ago, and really sank myself in it, and then years passed. Just recently I remembered, Clancy and Maken and said -- get that back in your life, woman! So I did. So happy.
Outstanding. My father and mother saw them on this tour in 1977. They brought home this album. My father played this album for us, in the dark...through a Marantz receiver with brand new Fisher speakers. An experience that can't be replicated. My 9yr old son is named Liam... My father... God rest his precious soul.
good thing they did. the song made it on the LP & Cassette version of the concert, sadly when they made the album available on Compact Disc, it was the only track that didn't make the cut. the other tracks did make itrbut the track order is different than it is on the LP & Cassette
Had a copy of the concert on cassette years ago. Bought a copy on CD recently. This song was missing (perhaps others too) - one of the main reasons I bought the CD
nope this is the *ONLY* song they cut from the CD version the others were retained but shuffled around in a different order front the LP/Cassette version.
I have this on cassette. Wore out the first cassette because of this track & had a difficult time getting a 2nd copy years later but I managed it. I have it transferred to CD now myself.
Margaret Glynn NICE! i guess that trows away the theory that the abscence of the song on thje CD version of the recording wasn't because of lack of space
Shame about the sound quality and the 'too slow' playing speed. . This is truly a great performance by a master of his art. . You are sorely missed Mister Clancy!
The greedy recording company should have included it on the CD; it is one of their masterpieces. The company doesn't give a rats ass about their customers, except to extract as much money from them as possible.
@@murryjcohen I wonder why they not only left one of the *BEST* songs off the CD version, but also, switched the track listing around? the Cassette version is the only one that matches the LP track listing,

+Margaret Glynn I'm guessing you turned the casette into 2 CD's when you did the transfer?
I separated the tracks into one CD.

Shouldn't think so.
@@scottymam You see, it IS possible.
Even with the spotty audio quality I prefer this version to the other versions with better audio quality.
It's Matt so do I.
This is the best version.
