    Hi!!!! Keep up the good work!!!! I make statement earrings and crochet garments and accessories as a side hustle. I work part-time as a security guard for my school district. You are bless having a husband who support your dreams. I was married to my husband Lloyd Wade Clayborne for 30 years, unfortunately he died January 26,2021. He also supported my dreams. Keep up the good work and have a wonderful evening and stay CREATIVE 😊Robin N.Otis-Clayborne

    Thank you so much! Wow, your video has definitely encouraged me! Congratulations on your business! Your story is so amazing. I'm starting my business, am also Christian and just waiting on and trying to build up my funding. It's been hard waiting but God is in it, He gave me this plan so I'm just trusting Him to see it through and get it off the ground. To God be the glory 🙌🏿☀️🧡🌿

    I needed to see this. I've been a SAHM for 2.5 years (I've had 2 children back to back!) and I am working on my wax melt business. I have been so fearful of selling that I've been procrastinating the WHOLE 2.5 years! Because of the economy, my partner is feeling the financial strain so I've decided to apply to go back to work. Of course my heart keeps telling me no yet I've only given my products out to family and friends and I need to SELL! Long story short, this video (and all others) are encouraging. It's really as easy as they say; just start it (and start it scared!) I'm always worried about "being right" when I can be wrong AND learn on the way. Wishing your business continued growth and love. Praying I'll meet you on a similar path in the future! ❤

      Thank you so much for watching!!! I’ve been there with the fear aspect of things , but I always combat it with 2 Timothy 1:7 ”For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.“
      I definitely think that if you feel the call to start your business, that you should go for it! Thank you so much for tuning in and for your support. Praying that you take that next step 💗

    I love all your videos. But this one right here really spoke to me. You had my kind going the whole time I was listening. You lit the fire that I really needed to get moving. I had a baby in May of 2022 and I haven't fully balance how to do my business, pick up the camera, and be a mom at the same time. That has been my biggest struggle for 2023.
    Some video suggestions if I may: can you go over the process of getting your items in stores? (Ex: writing a contract/consignment, inventory management, did they buy the products from you or do they get a commission when they sell the item,etc); your check out process; packing orders; when first starting out did you have a website or were you selling through instagram; how do you market your items on social media
    Love your energy. I'm sorry this is long but through the videos I feel you are a momprenuer bestie of mine LOL ❤

      I know exactly what you mean and I’ve been there too! You got this! One thing that’s helped me is setting attainable goals. Once I accomplish even the smallest task, over time it’s really built up my overall confidence and made the drive I have so much stronger! 2024 is right around the corner, you can do it 💗🙏🏽
      Thank you so much for tuning in to this video, your support, and the video suggestions!!!💗💗💗

    Getting a boutique to sell your items - how does that work? Does it eat into your profit margins more than selling on your own through a pop-up shop or Etsy? Genuinely curious, because I can imagine the boutique also wants to make a profit off of whatever is sold.

    • @ariannagenell
      @ariannagenell  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      So when selling at a boutique on consignment, it is a collaborative arrangement where you provide your products to a boutique, and they sell them on your behalf. Unlike wholesale, where you sell goods upfront at a fixed price, consignment allows you to retain ownership until items are sold. Prices are often determined by mutual agreement between you and the boutique, typically based on a percentage split of the final sale. For example, my split is 70%, and the boutiques is 30% of the retail price of my items sold in their store.
      Opting for consignment with a boutique can be advantageous, as it enables exposure without the initial cost of wholesale. While the boutique takes a percentage, the potential increase in sales volume may outweigh the reduced margins. However, it's crucial to figure, and negotiate fair terms to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership!
      Selling on your own through pop-up shops or platforms like Etsy provides more control over pricing and margins. However, it demands a significant time investment in marketing, managing sales independently, and even the fees included in booth rentals at Pop-Ups and on Etsy.
      Ultimately, the choice depends on your priorities - whether you prioritize convenience and exposure with consignment or prefer control and autonomy in selling on your own.
      I do both, and it’s been great for my business 💗
