Great documentary about a very underrated pro golfer and person. I’m praying for God to give JB Holmes one more run of Top-10 finishes and many healthy years in retirement. 😇👏
I know JB & his family...wonderful and solid people. I was at that Ryder Cup! It was a great "bucket list" experience, and to personally know a major player on Team USA made it even more special.
Well done. JB is a legend. So proud of him and I don't even know him. Imagine as a young man having the presence to say "hey Mom & Dad, I don't need any national spotlight and the AJGA isn't as important as our family having the resources we need", then going to UK and dusting the "privileged" country clubbers with his homemade swing while out driving them. Truly a man's man.
1:07- I had to play it over three times to make sure I heard it right but the narrator says that "John would go on to play 10 years of high school golf". Hmmmm.
Its quite evident in the swing mechanics; JB aint gonna be able to continue, the body aint designed to take that kind of twisting abuse. And, when you stress one part of the body to its breaking point, this will start a domino effect and begin to cause other key areas to check out. Time has taken its toll, and JB will not be able to stay off the injured list.
JB Holmes swing is not wild. Sure you see JB swing hard. But the experienced golfer will tell you that his balance is perfect. When you're that good, you can swing that hard and still stay balanced.
Not sure why he would be upset by “accusations” of slow play… it’s well documented, and he was hard to watch on TV. That being said, he seems like a great guy and a true made from scratch folk hero in the golf world. Wish him nothing but the best and hope his body holds out.
It sounds like either someone who has genetic issues with his soft tissues or he needed to train his body better. Hitting thousands of golf balls puts a huge strain on your body, the swing will find the one place that isn't strong enough and boom, injury. Big fan of JB though.
These are well made. But the attempt to make overly complex psycho-drama to explain someone's golf life is silly and kind of morally wrong. Most of the reasons guys fall off are injury or something very simple in terms of poor development choices. x
Always wild when I stumble on a story like this and realize he’s actually playing this weekend

This might have been the best documentary I have ever watched on TH-cam, keep up the good work!!
Thank you! That means so much
Great documentary! Thank you for sharing
Key player in one of the greatest Ryder cups. I wish you well JB !

Would love to see him get healthy and playing well and go to LIV
Great documentaries! Keep 'em coming.
Thank you👌🏻
I love JB. Thank you so much for creating this.
My pleasure 👌🏻
Always enjoy your work, just miss more of it. I ubderstand it takes a lot to do it, keep it up.
Big things coming soon
Seen him hit balls at PB pro am. It’s still majestic to see the ball fly like his does
Great bio Mitchell, J B Holmes has sure had his share of setbacks.
Yup! He was in the Honda Classic this week. Don't know if he made the cut or not... Always like J B.....
Interesting story, doing it his own way.
Good job….this video and we viewers may inspire him more.
Great video! What is your background music?
Probably still finishing his final round of the 2021 us open
JB story is a reminder of why so many took the easy money from LIV golf..gold on the tour is unforgiving.
Hes back this year
Can't forget that he had to be referred to as JB so as not to be confused with a certain celebrity...
@Duff Truffison type John Holmes into TH-cam and Google and you'll see who I mean
@dufftruffison7168 ding dangly do
JB is a great talent on the course and a great person
The old ways were far superior. Every passing day refutes the myth of evolution.
lmao 10 years of highschool golf just sounds weird they let him play before he even went to school there

Truly a man's man.
There’s nothing whatsoever legendary about him. Stop abusing this word.
Great vid bro cheers. Glad he holds the record for the most balls ever hit by anyone before 😂

That’s correct 👍🏻
10 years? That’s one 72 hole tourney for ld JB.
@@matthewhall2320 HA! I see what ya did there.
Persistence pays off
@@mmaranta785 Yeah, that's some industrial strength persistence.

What's unfair about calling him slow? If I was paired with someone that slow on my home course, I'd bail out after 9 holes.
please do rise of Max Homa

Boo Weekly next Mitchell!
What happened to Brandt Snedeker?

Love him, he is a rubber-band he will bounce back.
Maybe he was playing SOOOOO slow he never finished his last round.
JB. Loved his down home swing. Short and sweet!
Turtle man! One of the slowest players ever!
He was so slow putting he is still on the first green.
He is still plumb bobbing a putt on 16.
#JB 🐊🏌🦅🇺🇸❤️
He played too slow and got kicked off the tour?
I think he's still finishing up on the 18th at Royal Portrush...

Played 10 years of high school golf? Lol, cultural misunderstanding from the brit narrator for sure.

Slow player. Pissed a lot of people off.
Given his slow play, he's probably still on the third hole from a tournament 2 years ago.
Who??
