Who would think this song is about a pedophile? I know in the song it says...."she's just 16 years old....leave her alone". Way back age wasn't an issue when it came to love. Now it is. Obviously within reason when it came to having a relationship. When a 16 or 17 year old is in love..... that's it. The heart has no age limits. My brother dated a girl when he was 20 and she was 17 back in 1982. Was that wrong? No it wasn't. After 38 years they are still together. Wow! I don't know much about Benny Mardones and his song "Into The Night" but I just learned of it about 3 years ago. His voice was phenomenal and it's hard to understand why he never had more success. Happy Birthday Benny! The first time I ever heard into the night, I was in the back seat of my parents car and was only 3 years old in 1980 when it came on the radio and I remember telling my mom I like this song. I have loved it ever since. Wow! I don't know much about Benny Mardones and his song "Into The Night" but I just learned of it about 3 years ago. His voice was phenomenal and it's hard to understand why he never had more success. This tribute was absolutely beautiful and has me on "full sob" at work...fantastic job to the young lady singing to him in this video & wonderful, inspiring words. 💜

What a sweet sweet soul.
Not my sort of thing but only because I’m not very sentimental.This man is obviously very well thought of by many people and you can’t just dismiss that.Personally the song into the night is a total masterpiece and his vocals on that song unsurpassed by anyone on any song.The story behind the song is just fantastic and very uplifting.
