- In a new venture, the BLA and the UEP will join forces to present a one-day meeting on voice-related topics. Presenters from around Europe will be speaking on topical subjects and new directions in voice care. This meeting will be of interest to ENT surgeons, Otorhinolaryngologists with interest in Phoniatrics or Laryngology, Consultant Laryngologists and Phoniatricians, Speech and Language Therapists, Voice coaches and acousticians.
Phoniatrics is the medical specialty dealing with the study and treatment of voice, speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders. The Union of the European Phoniatricians (UEP) is a platform for the exchange of expert knowledge, clinical experience and scientific work in this area. UEP promotes the cooperation of phoniatricians in Europe, its neighbouring countries and those countries that have put the European model of Phoniatrics into practice.
