dbWeeZy here. 56.8% lifetime ranked player and I main pikachu. I'm finding that even though Pikachu got buffed, I'm struggling this season to perform as I'm used to (65% lifetime win rate with Pikachu at 1,168 battles). I'm theorizing that it is because of buffs other mages received. I'm struggling with the range if only I could reach as far woth tbolt and thunder as other mages can with their builds.
Not saying Lapras is bad by any means. But it definitely needs some kind of buff to it's defense. Either it's passive, boosted attack healing, Bubble beam cooldown, etc. It just needs something to keep up with the other defenders in the game.
Mamoswine is criminally underrated, he counters every all rounder in the game and EQ setting potential to combo greatly with just about every mage in game is going to give you nightmares
He needs a buff to ultimate, the concept of a tank that has a good kit that lacks healing makes a pretty good niche, but it’s a level 9 character who you pick for its level 3 because the ulti is garbage

I've been on a break from Unite for over a year, and seeing some of my old favorites in the top tiers made me want to give the game a try again. There's a lot of catching up to do!
Sad to see Blastoise falls off, it's my favorite defender, but I'm happy to see Cramorant going up. Cram is really good but seems like people rarely picked it, I only meet 2 times this season and one of them in standard
I loved to put on long tier list vids as background while doing stuff but also wouldnt mind shorter ones especially if it does better for ur view time. Maybe putting them in two different pictures can be more clear and not too overwhelming with information?
How do we think that greedent isn't just the worst character in the game. No one plays them and even if they did, his builds feel awful right now, you can either run around the map with hindrance resistance and do absolutely nothing else, or you can have a build that is fine but is super easy to counter. So much so that playing it is impossible. Greedent can rush down, he just doesn't do enough damage to rush down 90% of characters. Greedent can live a while, just not so much that he can actually Frontline effectively without making their entire item set based around surviving. His stats need a massive buff and also fix bullet seed

Its definitely not the worst character in the game. Its C tier. Its unite is very good if u play covet belch, and its very annoying. Mini stuns from covet, slows from bullet seed, you are very tanky as long as u dont frontline and run in and out.
The only unstopable situation as goodra is when the enemy team is bad. Goodra is just a noobstomper that doesnt see play in competitive, similar to Gengar but without the snowball potential Gengar has

You get easily kitted without your second skill and your lane goes horribly wrong because of that. And then you cant catch up and are useless. Thats why i say a earlier evolution would easily bring Goodra to B tier

Absolutely. Pain Split and Curse together pretty much invalidates high time to kill all rounders. Horn Leech Curse is a very good mix of damage output and CC, and Wood Hammer's uptime is super valuable. Really dumb pokemon, atrocious to play against
I prefer the old format because you can scroll through and more easily see when each pokemon is talked about based on when they appear on the list. I also find the original view of all the mons more overwhelming, harder to remember. It's still helpful though.
I love how in 20% of solo competitive, when Im the only damn defender, I get the mid lane- and it's not even in anyones mind to rank them there 😭 (Im not even happy to get mid as defender, but I aint wasting that exp if 3 are top and 2 bot)
Hey cris, idk if this is a thing you could do, but i think a cool idea would be to do BOTH the versions of this kind of video: you could do a video like this one where you go over things very simply and then a longer one with chapters too so people can pick out which pokemon they're interested in and see the longer explanation about them. good video as usual tho!!

Still forgot to mention the stupid amount of random CC that basically stops you from playing until you are dead. Draga for center can go down to B, no way it is not hard countered by absolutely everything except single Comfey.
Ho-oh unite should've been u revive someone if they're dead if nobody is dead it heals all the teammates in the area that would've been brokenly amazing
I 100% agree that leafeon is great either on path or central even when the enemy has anti stacking mons just have to get to level 8 unite move them and then stack
zacian S tier is kinda crazy ngl, imo hes not that strong anymore, see nobody playing it and the ones that play it are usually lackluster performance, solid tier list tho.
No level 5 spike, prone to being invaded, less possible stacks, no objective secure and wants to kinda be in the face of the enemy all game good at splitting and it's annoying having to go back to clear jungle
I personally feel Ho-Oh is A tier at best. Well, I have played only 11 battles with it till now so I maybe out of line here but just my humble two-take
I love to play decidueye one of my favourite snipers cuz of the movement during the snipe The only problem is that you can't play it in lane and even if you jungle invades can mess up the game even harder i just stopped playing the mon cuz other mons snowball the games so hard that sometimes you can't get to lvl7 when they invade or something I just wish they made something to prevent jungle invades
Cris loves putting some pokémon into high placements in the Lane tier list because the pokémon is doing well in the meta, even if the Pokémon struggles a lot in lane. TTar was only higher before because it was doing super well in the meta, not because it was good in lane. It's an issue with a lot of Cris's tierlists.
Not sure if it's bad but just overshadowed by razor leaf Earlier you had a lot of damage at lvl4 and you can push lanes harder but now doesn't feel the same
Ho oh solo q, c tier.. worst defender. No stun, no healing, 9/10 games you have no ultimate, less self heal than other defender... Ultra giga trash pokemon
@@SleepyEJ i play fire spin and the other fire move, there are some game where you do 60/70/80k damage but it feels so useless.. goodra, mamo, trevenant, umbreon, slowbro, there are so many best defender that does something in the team fight with stuns and ulti.. hoho has no stuns and many times no ulti.. i know it s a beautiful pokemon, it s new , but it s quite trash

Trevenant has been heavily nerfed, already nerfed twice in a row if I'm not mistaken and he's still S tier...

After the items buff you should visit physical range attackers in lane. Yes, are bad but i think wasnt bad as use to be.
