Your home decor is so awesome but that sled on your buffet was the best you should be a home decorator which you really are to us that watch you especially ME I get the greatest ideas watching your videos ❤❤❤
Julie you make me laugh! Your like a bee flitting from flower to flower! Your in the middle of loving one thing and then it’s like ooooh ! Look at that !! Squirrel!!!!! Love ya ! Just like me.. I do the same thing!
Julie, I'm so glad you went back and got the box and sled! They are such a great addition to your home. All those wire things you saw in that one booth are definitely from the 80's. I had quite a bit in those days! There is nothing new under the sun!😉 I'm loving your Thriftmas. You are so darling and I so enjoy watching what you do and how you are decorating! See you tomorrow!❤️🥰🌲
The wooden piece that you said your Pawpaw use to build. My Daddy built collapsible wooden bowls out of wooden pieces similar to that. Oh I wish I knew what happened to mine. Tks for the memories! BLESSINGS and Merry Christmas!!!
👵💜 talk about a trip down memory lane! When I got married in 1965 my decor was Early American. I either had a lot of the items you showed today, or I had similar items.👵💜
While I don’t mind the heart cut outs in wood items, I hear a lot of people say they don’t care for them. However I think you could easily cover the hearts with a simple tin or ceramic tile with a bit of glue. Wish I could send a picture!
Loved that gold chicken. Had one similar to it but a squirrel decided to sneak into my kitchen and went crazy. He ran rampant in my kitchen, climbed my curtains, scuttled across my counter, knocked over the chicken which broke to a million pieces and calmly walked out the shed door. I miss my chicken.
I’m so glad you went back for the box and the sled. They look fantastic the way you styled them. I have always loved primitive. I would change out my decor every now and then, but it didn’t give me the feeling that primitive does, so I’d always go back to primitive.
I'm sooooo glad you went back for that sled..i was bummed when you didn't bring it home! That sled is awesome, and not a bad price either. I love the primitive look too. That one picture you looked at with the man and woman, you have the two separate pictures of, i have that one in a large wooden frame that really old.. and heavy! I just love it🥰 I could spend an entire day in an antique mall, so many good things!
Primitive hen would be pretty painted a creamy white color. The green transfer ware would be great for Christmas pairing with red transfer alternating setting. You could use serving in either/or both colors. I have my childhood sled which I've spray painted an antique white; I'm going to get a glass or acrylic top cut to fill and use it as a riser on my coffee table.
I’m loving the antiques shop vids! I feel like I’m there with you ! I have my childhood sled from the 50’s just like that but not red-I display it with a big red bow on it for Christmas ….I hope you buy the sled !! You DID ! Love all the styling The flat sided footed ‘thing’ you picked up may be a fireplace screens??? 🤔 ❤xxMarilyn
Julie glad you went back for the sleigh and box. I also love primitive decor, but your styling is awesome. You should hire yourself out for decorating. I would be the first one on your list. I have been watching your channel from the beginning and can’t wait to see what you find next. Thank you for always sharing your wonderful finds and your beautiful home and family.🥰Take good care and God Bless.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊
Thank you so much for bringing us along on this flea market trip. I Love your energy. I’m living vicariously through you. We don’t have markets like this near us
Omg! I saw so many things that caught my eye! You make me want to go hit the flea markets! I love thrifting at flea markets! I’m like you- I like old things. I’m fortunate enough that I’ve inherited many OLD pieces. I have my dad’s baby chair that is handmade and the legs are only about 2 inches long on it. He’s 93 now, so it’s almost 100 yrs old. I had my son’s picture taken in it when he was a toddler. I wish there was a way to share pictures here. Love to show you. I also have a really old wooden high chair that came from my grandmother. Ok, now I know I want to go thrifting asap! 🤣
Hey Julie! I’ve been watching you for awhile now and I love how you thrift for items to style your home. Your style has evolved over time for sure! But I wanted to comment on the purchase and styling of your vintage sled! Bravo! That sled is stunning on your buffet! Well Done!
Prices not too bad there. Great selection of so many different items. $125 for that baby quilt does seem too high. Plate rack $59.95 whoa. The box for $185, nope. Depends on the booth, I guess.
I have the exact same squatty pitcher on a table next to my bed with flowers in it. I used to have a wire hanger like that one with 1 heart . Glad you got the sled. When i get a wood piece, sometimes i take antiquing wax & water it down. Then i wipe it over the color i don't like & it changes the color without changing it like paint would.
I love seeing how you style the items in your home. And your hunt for a little chair reminds me of the one I had for my boys when they were little. My husband picked it out of the trash and it was perfect for using at our coffee table.
Hi Julie. Your home is just so beautiful! I love all the things you find. I loved the brass piece at 2:15, the little frying pan at 5:55, the quilt at 9:50, the lazy Susan, the tin cannister set (my husband likes that style), the blue quilt at 15:23, the old wood box at 22:35 and the wood tray at 24:40. I can't wait to watch the next video!
Quilts at the antique store are sooooo pricey. I have about 15 beautiful vintage and antique quilts and I've found them all at the Goodwill outlet stores. Do you ever stop at the ones in Houston? It takes some getting used to, but I love them! I find some amazing stuff.
The match sticks in the end opposite the snuffer part. The match fits between the ends. They pull apart (push the little round part down) then you push the little round part up to hold the match. So you don’t burn your fingers. Goodness, not sure that even makes sense. 😂
I love what you did with the sled. I was also thinking I would love to have the red mug holder for Christmas Ornaments. As I was looking at your decor, I was thinking, I hope you have a lot of storage space for your Christmas decorations. 😊
So glad I found your Channel I'm Disabled and not able to shop like I use to, not able to get my Scooter through the Isles in the store, I enjoy cutting wood out with my Scroll saw Is there any chance you could send me the pattern for your Vintage Santa, I can Shrink the pattern down and make more and send it to you ...Idaho
Great video Julie. Love the pieces you bought. That box is gorgeous and the storage you will have. I loved it when you said in the video, Where would I put it even though that hasn't stopped me before! Truer words can't be said for a thrifter! Right? You were able to score some beautiful pieces to add to your collection. I hope you have a great weekend and your family has a Merry 🎄 Christmas ! Keeping Jesus for the season in Texas too!
OMG I love the bright colored rugg! That box would be amasing to store blankets in too Would love to find a rocker Loved the green rugg too Seems I m in a rugg mood lol I love that iron. Never seen one in that color eigther I love quilts too Used to make them Waaw pretty serving tray Stunning woodwork I loved that wired apple. Grate gift for a teacher Your decor is always perfect Thank you for sharing x
Loved your finds. Great choice on going back for the sled & trunk. I remember the wire primitive hangers from the late 80’s early 90’s when I first got married. My whole house was done in that style. Hearts everywhere. The one you couldn’t figure out was a gingerbread with a heart in the belly. Loving videos everyday.
The price on everything was mind blowing🤯 I would have needed a trailer to haul everything!! And my house is modern everything! My home looks like the magnolia store..I own everything Hearth & Hand, and some 😉 but WOW the prices are a dream come true For anybody! Definitely pieces I would love in my home! Thank you for sharing, What store is it?
Love love love it!!!! I’m a big fan of primitive as well and I love to mix in vintage such as 40’s and 50’s stuff. So much fun! ❤ can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings
*Julie, I L🤍VE the old bread bowls and crockery of any type with the blue 💙 stripes❣️ So happy you got the matching smaller pitcher‼️💙 I would have also purchased the double heart 💕 wire hook with the wooden knob at the end of the hook❣️🤎 I can't tell you how THRILLED I am you went back the next day and bought the wooden box and the sled‼️🤎❤️ The box looks fabulous with your picnic baskets on top - and there is so much hidden storage between the 3 pieces. The sled looks fantastic on top of your buffet the way you have it decorated❣️🥰 The 2 reindeer 🦌🦌 the candle, books 📚 and the lamp were a nice touch❣️🥰💯 WOW,💥💢💥 there were so many beautiful quilts, crocks, pieces of real wooden furniture and dishes there - what a fantastic shop filled to the gills with treasures❣️ SWOON‼️🤣🤣🤣🎍🎄🎍 ❤️💚💙❤️*
I think the picture on a stand may be to stand in front of the fire place during summer. Much like a fire screen. Fun video. Really loved all the options!!!Dream time.
Hi Julie! I just love it all...that sled 😍😍😍 I want a green picnic basket just like the one in the last display...I have a brown one but want a green one too! It is something I am keeping my eyes open for.
I really love everything you picked up. I agree with you, I like the plain side better too. The sleigh looks beautiful where you placed it. I bet you're excited about all your new finds, I know I would be. See you tomorrow!

“Squirrel moment”😂🤣 I love this channel!❤️

I love these sweet memories. You’re welcome.
I love those three reindeer’s made out of black wrought iron on top of your sled beautiful
Thank you 😊! Every sled needs reindeer 🎄
Hi Julie, your sleigh display is just a surprising hit. Great job.

Thank you! I’ve definitely learned so much from y’all.
I think the match holder was the opposite end and you place a lit match so you can reach candles in high places.😊
Prices not too bad there. Great selection of so many different items. $125 for that baby quilt does seem too high. Plate rack $59.95 whoa. The box for $185, nope. Depends on the booth, I guess.
Ignore the nasty comments. You do you. Love your channel.

OMG! my grammie had that big old stoneware bowl, she used it let her bread dough rest in it, she also used it for making her stuffing.
I love seeing how you style the items in your home. And your hunt for a little chair reminds me of the one I had for my boys when they were little. My husband picked it out of the trash and it was perfect for using at our coffee table.
Thanks for taking us shopping I saw so many thing I’ve had back in the 70s and 80s
You dont run across those sleds everyday.....dont be cheap. Get it ,& enjoy it! HAPPY HOLIDAY S & Merry Christmas 🕊️🎄🌲🌲❄️
Love that little pitcher. I’m glad you went back for the box and sled😊
I am 76 and my gramma had those metal canisters and so did my mom. There was a grease can that matched them.
Hi Julie. Your home is just so beautiful! I love all the things you find. Not only did you get beautiful pieces, but you helped a small business owner pay the rent ♥️
You might be able to place some twine around the necks on your heart metal hanger to match the wooden tip.
Good idea. Thank you!
I love everything you bought!!! I'm looking forward to seeing you every day. Blessings.

I might be showing my age but I remember sledding with my two sisters with sleds actually actually like the sled you showed
Everything you bought and styled looks great. I really like the wooden chest in front of the tv.
That brass bowl would look great filled with Christmas bulbs on a table
Such great treasures you found today,, everything looks great. The sled. Looks awesome

That was a great price on the sled. I'm so glad you went back to get it.

Oh Julie I love the way you styled the sleigh. I got one of thoses great ideal. This store is fun to look at . Those wire hooks I like too.❤
Thank you so much!
Hi Julie!
I just love it all...that sled 😍😍😍
I want a green picnic basket just like the one in the last display...I have a brown one but want a green one too!
It is something I am keeping my eyes open for.
I really love everything you picked up. I agree with you, I like the plain side better too. The sleigh looks beautiful where you placed it. I bet you're excited about all your new finds, I know I would be. See you tomorrow!
Sometimes we just need to splurge on something we love…..bet you had so much fun styling your sled….your house looks so cozy!!🤗❣️
Hi Julie! When you picked up primitive Santa you must've heard me all the way from Georgia when I yelled "Grab it". There's so many beautiful things in that store. I would definitely have grabbed the wooden basket! My grand daddy (Papa)was quite a wood worker too. He got me started on woodburning. We'll see you tomorrow ❤.
The piece you picked up that was a paintng on a stand with a handle on top is a fire screen. People used it in front of their fireplace to block the heat a bit so they could sit close to the fire but not get too hot. probably Victorian.
Oh ok. Thank you!
In the UK fire screens were used to put in front of a unlit fire for decoration only .
