- Back to the 50s classic car show, pre 1964 only! MSRA Back to the 50s car show held annually in June at Saint Paul, Minnesota fair grounds. What a magnificent collection of fine Americana automobiles, classic American culture and future history representing America in the 50's. When I was living in Dallas Texas in the early 80's my American mate had a 57 Chevy V8 sedan which he hand painted in radical colours. The attention that he got was amazing, especially when he was refuelling. Awesome sounding engines, combination of beautifully restored and original rust buckets (as long as the engines are purring) and such variety. Great job filming this, well done! I owned: 28 Model A Roadster, 49 army Jeep, 51 Ford, 55 chevy, 56 chevy convertible , 57 Pontiac Convertible. Joined the NAVY, got married and owned three beetles! Got divorced, graduated from Nuclear Medicine school and bought a new Mercedes. My Yukon XL 5.3. was the best vehicle I ever owned! Life is funny.
