I’ve had an Etsy shop in the past that I struggled with (I really wish I had found your channel back then!). I have a rebranded, cleaned up business & considering either starting fresh, trying to change my name and revamp my shop, or starting my own site. Thank you for making some good points in this vid. 😊
Etsy lowers your brand perception unlike amazon. Big brands have their own shop on amazon but not on etsy. Imagen if they would do that. Their perceived brand value would drop immediately IMO

Can I place my website name somewhere on Esty? Thank you for all this very needed information you shared in your video.
You can put your own website URL anywhere you like in your Etsy shop - what you CAN'T do is direct people to buy there rather than Etsy. For example, you could put your URL on your banner, but not alongside a message saying 'go to my website to get cheaper prices'.
