With his electrical power, he can create huge walls or bubbles of energy, which can take punishment in his place. These force fields can be used to block incoming fists, bullets, and other physical attacks, including cars that try to run him over.

As a non American it surprises me how much race plays a part in almost everything. I'm not saying other countries don't have race issues, it just seems a lot more prevalent in America.
Because, sadly, America's own history of using race to justify open discrimination has been tough to ignore or overcome. With slavery, then another 100 years before the civil rights movement, which included legally enforced separation of neighborhoods, schools, and even bank policies.... It has been impossible for the racial issues in America to be fully addressed and fixed. However, despite the above all being true...... it also doesn't help that you have politicians who openly use race for their own personal power and then distance themselves from helping that race once they HAVE that power. Or worse, using their political positions to further divide us as a nation based on racial concerns that impact all of us.

I'm impressed that this show gives us a love interest that really does get sick of making time for super-heroing, and decides to end it. It's how I thought Deadpool should have ended, giving how it set itself up for mocking movie cliches and standards.
