50 bucks less and pretty much comparable , i will with go with the sea chicken it just comes with a cass for less then both ! Cheers and tanks for dee review 👍
I had both. The sea knight was better. The heimdallr had a loose bezel with side play, it had sharp points on the crown guards I could feel when setting the time or winding up.
I had the sea knight first. I felt the orange dial was darker than the orange seiko monster, and darker than the chapter ring.
So I sold it and ordered the sharkie. Nicer dial, but too many case issues.
Both have a too thin and short minute hand.
Also n if they have good lume, the hands shape make it hard to read the time in the dark.
Good comparison. It seems Heimdallrs are a bit of a lottery. You may get a good one or one with alignment and bezel issues.
Anyway, I feel the Sea Knight was the better one, in my experience.
I went for the citizen Promaster NY0040. Very happy with it.
Wow, now I realise even more that Chinese watches are really lottery. Sometimes even cheap ones can be better made than other priced 2x.

Did you checked the Tandorio Monster Red? I've ordered one for 55€ and still waiting for it.
Compared with those I think the Tandorio lume is weaker and the lines between the dial teeth are white instead of black, but for the price I've paid it was bargain!
I didn't want to order that one because they don't have the stainless bracelet. Probably because of that it's cheaper
@ShortBetter The bracelet is around 20€, so for the 55€ from the watch plus the bracelet, it becomes cheaper than a Sea Knight or a Heimdallr that already have it.
I've received recently and oh boy... it's so awesome!
Now, on 11.11, I'm gonna buy a Pagani BB58 v2 and a Phylida NTTD!

The Heimdallr has a case size of approximately 42 mm, just like the original Seiko. I don't know how you measure 45...

Oh, definitely. I will do the next one using Sea Knight. Because in my experience, the biggest difference is only dial colour and bezel

The one aspect of any of the monster style watches that I cannot get past, is the dial. I really do not like the dial, specifically the indexes. The fact that the indexes and dial is associated with a "mouth/teeth" really just creeps me out. I might pick up a hiemdallr monster but do I dial swap, who knows? 😂

@@ShortBetter Well, I don't think a fear of sharks has anything to do with my displeasure with the dial indexes. The indexes do not look like sharks teeth to me.
They have versions with rectangle indices instead of the teeth ones
@@mianrowan fair enough. I did try on the Ice dial (?? the penguin feet) Seiko at an AD, and realized the Monster's overall size isn't to my liking so this is now moot.

Sea knight is made in a sweat shop with no AC.
Heimdallr is made in a sweat shop with a AC window unit.
Be careful the Sea Knight may have a lil moisture in it from a 10 year old sweating there A$$ off.
Saying this one was made in a hot A$$ FACTORY & the other in a controlled temp factory. Now you know the difference. Hope you enjoy your watch difference.

I thought everybody will make their own conclusion, depending on their budget. As a seller, I prefer Heimdallr, because it's a more trusted brand with more reviews, better after-sales service, and quality in general. But as a regular person, looking for a watch on a budget, I would go Sea Knight 100%
