Just FYI, these things can be dangerous. Was using a Funnel kit, from Newtype, for the past 2 months, with a total of barely 5hr total run time. It had a catastrophic failure where the compressor got stuck on, and I couldn't turn it off. even detached the airbrush from the unit and it kept going. As I tried to get it to shut off, it heated up to the point it burned my hand. I had to grab gloves and my multitool to open up the unit and cut the power lines. The battery itself was so hot I was worried it was going to explode, and it probably would of had I not removed it from the unit.
I am new to doing airbrushing, there are so many out there, I don't have a clue to what would be best for a beginner. As I get better I can buy a better one, I am leave how to custom sneackers and an airbrushing would make it so much easier.

I bought one of these under another brand name, but same features, protective film sticker, and probably insides. About 30-40 minutes of on and off use in my first session it shut off and would not turn on anymore. Plus it was hot. I let it cool and recharged it, thinking it was just out of power. When I turned it back on, it would NOT shut off. With or without the hose, it would no longer shut off once switched on. This was my first foray into airbrushing. The product concept is awesome. But out the gate, it’s not ready for prime time. I’ll wait and see how much next year’s models have improved. BTW, there is no company information to contact for support or parts, so you may be on your own after purchasing. I didn’t care to be stuck with that situation, so it went back. If you can, I’d suggest a typical brush session until the unit reaches its shutoff point. Curious to know if this is a broader design flaw or maybe i got a bad unit in the batch.

I have had the previous model for approx 1 year now (one without the hose) by the same manufacturer and it has performed well and so far no issues. I will be testing this one further when I do a video showing it create artwork which should really put it under heavy use and test the battery etc..
Basically the same thing just happened to me. Same model, just from a shop that slapped it's own logo and packaging on. Worked great for two sessions, then it is not working with the dual action on/off anymore and is constantly running. Additionally there's no air pressure anymore and it creates this "electric motor" stink when running. But for those two sessions it worked like a charm!
I have an off brand version the only down side is that I wish it had a raised ring around the power button. I put mine in my make shift spray box and either my 12 year old messed with it and wore the battery down to full dead or it got turned on when I moved everything. I have a logo stencil to test for my husband's business, and darn it all the battery was dead. Otherwise it's awesome when I only have a couple of earrings to paint. I do have a regular airbush compressor coming.

could you show everyone what a well polished and set up cheap airbrush can do compared to your more expensive ones? I know I can get hair line performance from my cheap Chinese guns, so I'm more interested in knowing where it would be outperformed by the more expensive guns.
I have bought a TM-80S (basically the unit in the video) from a popular online marketplace. The "owner's guide" doesn't give any details on what the components are and doesn't provide any details on how the unit should be dismantled and cleaned. Perhaps there is a PDF somewhere? Also, these things might be advertised as 32psi but are actually nothing of the sort - more like 15psi.

I got the same one. The battery part seems a bit lose... I wonder if it can be unplugged and replaced. It feels like there is some kind of clamp or solid connector inside, but I didn't wanted to damage it by pulling to much.

I bought 2 I-beautee units, one for my son and one for myself… after only two weeks of what I’d say was medium use the compressor kicks in every whether the trigger is depressed or not, making it a really noisy environment to try and concentrate in while painting… I wrapped all fittings with ptfe plumbers tape but nothing changed, and now my sons is doing exactly the same, I really like everything about it other than it being almost unbearable to use unless I wear headphones. Has anybody else had similar problems or have any ideas of how to fix the problem? Thanks.
Clean the trigger ?, I don't have the same problem but I noticed that paint (dry paint) obstructed the trigger, after a deep clean all functioned as if it was new.

I bought one of the spray gunner cordless airbrushes and it’s ok but could use a bit more psi. You said this one is stronger? Do you recommend this more then you recommended the spray gunner one?

Everyone, these are a dime a dozen on Amazon. Just under different brand names and colors. The majority I’ve seen are black, and then red. This is the first blue one I’ve seen. But they’re all exactly the same. I actually own 2 of these under the brand Anesty, but right now, I just saw 3-4 different branding of the same product. 3 black and 1 red. The ones I own in particular is called the Anesty AHPPro and it comes with a trigger style airbrush. I’m not trying to throw anyone under the bus, but if they can’t keep stock, I think it’s fair to educate.
Yes, they are made in the same factory, but some brands do have proper quality control while other brands sell... units that was rejected by other brand quality control, that's why I generally prefer to buy a brand that people have tested even if the similar product are available easier or cheaper on the market. :)
@@randomnickify Of course. You’re absolutely right. I just noticed that quite a few people seemed really bummed that they were out of stock. All of the ones on Amazon run around $60-$70. The company Spraygunner ( I’m sure you’ve heard of them) also took this little compressor under their wing and added it to their exclusive “NO-NAME” brand, and they sell it for about the same price. Spraygunner is a very reputable, honest company, and they say that while the company boasts about its 32PSI rating, the working pressure is more around 10-20PSI and it works best with detail airbrushes (smaller needle & tip sizes). Their observation of the unit is spot on in my opinion.

One issue I found with this particular unit is that there is no indicator on it for either showing that it is charging, or for how much battery power is left.
Yes you are right, the previous model by this manufacturer had the indicator lights which are helpful, perhaps this is something that they could include in newer models 🤔
Sold out already? Shows "Currently unavailable" for me from this link. I mostly shoot acrylics so I'd love a touch more on the psi (40-50, especially since it has a Mac valve) but I'm sure that tortures the batteries. 40 min is not terrible though.

Any chance of seeing how it performs with a siphon style airbrush as they generally need more air volume to draw up the ink/paint (working against gravity)?
Looks like a neat unit. I would just be concerned about the life span of the pump and seals. Did you hook up an air gauge to see if the unit was putting out the claimed 30psi and does it maintain that pressure during a session of painting and how long will the charge last? Good review.....
Pressure of the the compressor is 30-32PSI. But you know, it will be a bit low when connect with airbrush. But it's the highest pressure in all portable compressors.
Thanks mate, no I didn't hook up a pressure gauge but that is a great idea . It does maintain psi when brushing, it really feels like you are painting as per normal, that said I felt that out of all of the brushes tested the ones that ran at a lower psi definitely worked better, but thats me being 'picky' lol. The manual says charge time lasts 40-60 min, and it takes 90 min to charge. It also says that you can use it while connected to charge, I will focus on more of these points when I review it further in a video creating an artwork. 🤘
@@riboairbrushmanufacturer3832 the pressure drop only happens if you are using the hose, if you use compressor by connecting the airbrush directly to compressor unit there is virtually 0 pressure drop 😁
@@AirbrushAsylum it does work while charging but I don't recommend it unless you have roughly half battery life and need to use it for more than 30 minutes. It claims to work for 45-60 minutes on a charge.

Thats what the manufacturer determines, it also says in the manual that it can be used while charging and charging takes 90min, I will test all of this in the more detailed vid when I use it to create some artwork .

Not so much a "review" as paid advertisement, plus you get a bonus if we buy the unit through your link. You didn't test manufacturer claims about battery life, charge time or delivered air pressure. Unfortunately everything battery operated can suffer the same failure. You can't really knock a product over one failure.
I have one and used it for several hours. Very good tool.

Is it actually 32 PSI? Most equivalent products are only 18 when actually tested.
One issue I found with this particular unit is that there is no indicator on it for either showing that it is charging, or for how much battery power is left.
Yes you are right, the previous model by this manufacturer had the indicator lights which are helpful, perhaps this is something that they could include in newer models 🤔

I mostly shoot acrylics so I'd love a touch more on the psi (40-50, especially since it has a Mac valve) but I'm sure that tortures the batteries. 40 min is not terrible though.

In regards to the battery it is saying 40 - 60 mins, I will further test this unit in another dedicated video where I will use it from a full charge to create an artwork and we will see how long it lasts. 🤔

I'm a total newbie with an AB, just picked one up last year really. I mostly use it to prime & base coat miniatures (Reaper, Games workshop, etc. 28mm figures). I don't think I have the fluidity to do the larger scale art you Excell at. But like to watch it made.).
Any chance of seeing how it performs with a siphon style airbrush as they generally need more air volume to draw up the ink/paint (working against gravity)?
Great suggestion, I actually don't think I have a siphon feed handy, however if I can dig one up then I will definitely do so.

Looks like a neat unit. I would just be concerned about the life span of the pump and seals. Did you hook up an air gauge to see if the unit was putting out the claimed 30psi and does it maintain that pressure during a session of painting and how long will the charge last? Good review.....
Pressure of the the compressor is 30-32PSI. But you know, it will be a bit low when connect with airbrush. But it's the highest pressure in all portable compressors.
Thanks mate, no I didn't hook up a pressure gauge but that is a great idea . It does maintain psi when brushing, it really feels like you are painting as per normal, that said I felt that out of all of the brushes tested the ones that ran at a lower psi definitely worked better, but thats me being 'picky' lol. The manual says charge time lasts 40-60 min, and it takes 90 min to charge. It also says that you can use it while connected to charge, I will focus on more of these points when I review it further in a video creating an artwork. 🤘

@@riboairbrushmanufacturer3832 the pressure drop only happens if you are using the hose, if you use compressor by connecting the airbrush directly to compressor unit there is virtually 0 pressure drop 😁
@@AirbrushAsylum it does work while charging but I don't recommend it unless you have roughly half battery life and need to use it for more than 30 minutes. It claims to work for 45-60 minutes on a charge.

From the instructions it runs for 40-60 mins (you can use it while charging) and charge time is 90 mins, I will test this in the next video showcasing how this unit goes when creating artwork.

How long is the battery life on a unit?

Thats what the manufacturer determines, it also says in the manual that it can be used while charging and charging takes 90min, I will test all of this in the more detailed vid when I use it to create some artwork .

Not so much a "review" as paid advertisement, plus you get a bonus if we buy the unit through your link. You didn't test manufacturer claims about battery life, charge time or delivered air pressure.
