I've been listening to GIAA for 16 years now, since the release of All is Violent, All is Bright. It's incredible to listen to how this band has evolved over the years. There is really no comparison that can be made... these guys are geniuses with their rifts, the emotion that their music instills, and especially the drum beats and hits. Really incredible. I hope they continue to make music for years to come.
@@r8dfish489 You might like Mogwai, they're post-rock as well and most of their songs are instrumental but they have a lot of songs with lyrics too. "Ritchie Sacramento" is one of their newer songs, I thought it was really good. Has lyrics.
They kinda started to get more aggressive on Helios, but got alot more so in Epitaph. That album was sadness and anger rolled into one due to the death of Neils and Torstens 9 year old cousin. I think some of that kinda bled over into this album as well, but it sounds different from Epitaph as well.
AH yes. Another music video where the cinematic style feels like the inside of my mind. I've been really enjoying some amazing instrumental bands lately, GiaA and Polyphia being my top favourites! - Ian
For me they’ve gotten better over the past few records with a bigger guitar sound - definitely a smart move getting Jimmy Scanlan onboard. This a great record - really enjoying it. 👏👏
This band makes some of the best changes I've ever heard in instrumental tracks. Very organic and fluid.

Yeah I agree. They've gone from Explosions In The Sky style to a more Pelican heavy riff. All are brilliant though.
