In Sonic 3, Sonic had a special ability... it's calls "Insta-Shied" or "Insta-Spin". If you jump and press in the air jump again, you have a 0,30 sec the "Insta-Shield" and also is your range higher to beat enemy there are close of you. This can only one times use in a single jump, it means, you must jump again to use "Insta-Shield" again. This has been save my butt in the game a lot! Maybe... you should try this?
You know what's weird? Sonic and Tails are making fun of Knuckles for being a "lousy guardian" but I bet if they try to guard it the Emerald would probably be gone! Like jeez stop being mean to Knuckles! But great video GO TEAM SONIC! :)
