- This Cyberpunk 2077 vs. GTA IV comparison video (GTA IV destroys Cyberpunk PART 2) showcases Gameplay, A.I. & Physics differences between the two games with a few funny bugs/glitches & funny moments in between. It showcases why GTA 4 is better than Cyberpunk 2077 when it comes to details & Open-World elements.

CJ basically does the same thing except when he's driving a car, depending on his driving skill (one of the in-game stats achieved by beating driving tests), he will react differently. If he has low driving skill, he will look behind him while reversing the car. But if he has high driving skill then he won't look behind him, instead he will watch through the rear view mirror so that he can keep his eyes in the front as well. That is just brilliant.

Yes, why does gta iv have no character progress, have a boring, repetitive gray world, don't have a interesting main story, interesting side-stories, have a terrible graphics, the game is unplayable so far, the missions are repetitive and just as boring, player choices mean nothing, no lvl system, combat model is shit.

I an impressed by a feature in gta 4 that I never expected. You can hit any objects with bullet and they will break or gets ripped apart the same way they are supposed to do. And this game is from 2008 when I was 2 years old. Rockstar always impress me.
I also love the fact that in GTA IV when you wait a little on the bikes Niko puts on a helmet, which actually helps tank a bit of damage if you crash
On gta 5 you can put your helmet visor up and down too
@no u online only I believe but you buy yourself a helmet with a visor, I prefer tinted. Then make sure you have your helmet settings to auto show and pick yoir helmet you want on the interaction menu. Then when you equip once you're on the bike, just hold left on the d pad for Xbox. Lol left or right now I doubt myself but its one or the other.

By the way fun fact, back when GTA IV came out I thought the fire hydrant force was ridiculous and cartoony. Turns out Rockstar didn't make them powerful enough, apparently those things are capable of launching cars in the air IRL.

Bikes turned like cars, wide as fuck.
Most missions, maybe around 85% to 95% were as follows:
Drive to A, tell B you're there to kill him, follow an escaping B to C, kill B there.
Also there was nothing to spend the money on after a while.
But please, don't get me wrong, SO MUCH of it was great, I remember it fondly as I had a hell of a lot of fun with it, im just saying it wasnt perfect you know?

@@Babbolozada Yeah the missions were really annoying and repetitive and also the handling of some vehicles were kind of exaggerated. But still it was such a detailed and dynamic game, and the open world was really ahead of it's term in terms of sheer quality and details. Also the story was one of the best in the franchise.
@@sarathmadhav3017 I have to agree, there's a lot of attention to detail that needs to be appreciated despite the few things we mentioned. I do miss it actually, so overall my experience with it was positive.
Let's not forget that the actual storyline of GTA IV is much better than Cyberpunk as well

Plot in a game is just as important as plot in a porno. It’s better to focus on if the game actually works and if it is fun. Cyberpunk is neither of those things.

game was announced 8 years ago, development started just before witcher 3's launch in 2015 and had to deal with a pandemic in it's final year, it's also their second game as a triple a studio ever and previously never had the assets for a modern city sandbox, hardly a fair comparison.

Dong go in there, red dead 2 is far far far above cyberpunk, its not even possible to comprehend how much of a difference they have. You can compare cyberpunk only with game 10 years + older.
Not from a story standpoint though. RDR2's story completely lacks except the "dying Arthur" part.

lmao there isnt any global illumination, ray traced shadow nor reflections. all which are needed for a game to considered next gen. Not to mention the shitty polygon count for a game like gta iv. Sad all around that not many people in this comment section and various other videos with the same title dont know the difference between next gen graphics, and physic related systems, and water ripple textures. NOT to mention the hella complexity in night city, through every alley and buildings.

More like 4 years, in 2011 cdpr had the idea of getting the rights for the game, in 2012 they got the rights and announced that the project existed (and they likely already had plans). Then from 2012 to 2016 CDPR tried to develop both The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk together, but quickly realized this would have never worked out and eventually everyone went working on finishing The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk at this point was likely just ideas and pre-production stuff.
In 2016 development for the final DLCs of The Witcher 3 ended, and Cyberpunk went back into full production. Since very little work was done before this is when "proper" development for the game really started

I think that the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 just wanted to create money from the game for a short time period. I don't think that their goal was to create a good game, It was just to make some money from it. Even if their goal was to create a good game, well it's not good XD. The only thing that they did very good was the trailer because it shows the graphics of the game and not much of the actual gameplay.
They spent 8 years on the bloody thing and it still ends up being garbage, if they invested some time into actually making it good then people would continue buying it

GTA V was in some ways a "step back" in realism and sacrificed it for gameplay, for example driving in 4 was too realistic for high speed chases in many peoples opinion, so R* made it pretty arcady in 5, and I feel like 5 was more supposed to be this large scale grandiose thing with a whole state to explore, in 4 you "only" have liberty city, so they could focus more on smaller details, which in my opinion almost makes it better than 5.
@McClane eh, I honestly like the driving in 4, just started a new playthrough, it can be annoying, sure, especially because the streets are so windy, but all in all, I think it's nice (●´ω｀●)
(however 5 is my most played game, and over all my favorite game of all time, but still, screw you, no need to be so hostile all of a sudden)

The lack of blood in Cyberpunk 2077 makes sense to me, actually. Most people replaced many of their bodyparts with bionics. So they don't have much blood.

Developer here. To be fare, Rockstar has been working in these assets and realistic interactions, physics and stuff for decades.
CDPR developed their game I'm much less time.

in gta IV, driving sounds, just like particles, are material based, cyberpunk produces that generic asphalt drift sound for all terrain while gta IV is material-relative
yes, i have noticed that while shooting inside buildings, there is a ring to evey shot sound.
