Gino ignores that fornication in the context includes adultery.

No, it does not. Fornication happens with single people, and adultery happens with married people. Jesus specifically said fornication not adultery. It's just like a ball and a circle they are different.
Now, when Jesus was pressed about adultery, notice what he said. "For a man to look at a woman with lust, he has already committed adultery in his heart."
So, with that being said, every time a man looks at a woman with lust, his wife can just divorce him. But Jesus said, "From the beginning, it was not so. Moses allowed it (divorce) because of the hardness of your heart." It's important that we don't just read the bible, but study it to get a full understanding and not inject our opinions and what we think is being said.
A lot of people can not reconcile separating and remaining unmarried. If abuse is happening seperate, if adultery happens and you choose not to forgive and/or no longer want to live together, separate you, just can't remarry unless the person dies. It's a hard pill to swallow.
Because as Christians, when we sin and fall short, we are committing spiritual adultery on Christ. And when we are repented and ask for forgiveness, he forgives us. But we live in a world where folks will divorce for anything and regarding adultery will quickly divorce for the Physical act of adultery when Jesus said for a man to look with lust he already committed adultery in his heart. We can be hypocritical, and Jesus challenges us to remove the excuses and look deeper within ourselves.

@@thevoiceoftruth2 we use fornication to mean sex between unmarried people today, but I am only saying to read in the context and research the original language it was written in. The days of King James the word did not have this same meaning. Also translated from the Greek word porneia. This word was an umbrella term for several sexual immoralities that include adultery. Also in context it appears that sex outside of marriage was grounds for divorce if only committed by the woman although I am still seeking to understand and learn.
Also it should be important to note that within context Jesus says whosoever puts away HIS (male) Wife (female). It doesn’t appear that women initiated divorces in those circumstances at all and perhaps we have a lot of things messed up in the current culture.

@rmenendez I appreciate your reply. I understand that the act of fornication and adultery is a form of sexual immorality. However, fornication happens with an unmarried person, and adultery happens with a married person.
I also still refer to when Jesus says that for a man to look at a woman with lust, he's already committed adultery in his heart. The point I was trying to make is if adultery is grounds for divorce, and if a husband or wife let's say is addicted to porn which is lust, then a lot of people should be out here getting divorce.
