- Here is another request from Fred😂 Here’s “Dream Warriors” by Dokken. Amazing band.The last two videos are an attempt at providing more professional sounding videos. Some pointed out how poor the audio had been on my videos previously since I was recording directly to my iPhone. This was sung live and one take into ProTools and processed to suit the song. I hope you enjoy 👻 🎃

Generally female have wider vocal range they can sing high pitches with ease. Saw your Steelheart cover you made it look easy while most male vocalists seem to be bursting their pipes.

Ms. Formica, as someone old enough to remember when A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 came out, and when Dokken was a big deal, I just want to say that you more than did justice to this song.
This cover was outstanding from beginning to end, and this is not an easy song to sing.

Me, five! George Lynch lived in the Valley about then, along with Rob Halford and Alice Cooper, both of whom still live here, and a gaggle of others. Next to Eddie Van Halen (and I mean RIGHT NEXT) George was my favorite guitarist (at least until I discovered John Sykes). I always thought if Don Dokken could have just sucked it up and rode the wave, Dokken could have been so much bigger... Oh, well. It was great fun while it lasted!

from somethign i heard. shes tryign to put together an all female metal group. Lizzy Hale was trying to help her with that. honestly so many bands only having female leads makes it feel like people dont think the girls can play as good or something but there are several out there that could easily rock out as well as any of the guys.

@@TheDoug2103 Yeah, I saw him several years ago at a fair, his voice was only somewhat recognizable and he did'nt dare try to go very high at all. Still glad I went as I have always been a fan, but I was disappointed. Saw Air Supply as well around the same time, they still sounded the same...

Great cover, I was in high school when this movie and song came out. Robert Englund has said that Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was the most popular and biggest money maker of the franchise. A special request for another 80s rock tune, "Black Velvet" by Alyana Miles, please.

Watched Don and the boys from Dokken live in the Salt Palace in SLC out on the Back for the Attack tour in 87' (George Lynch is one of the best metal guitarist on the planet). You crushed those vocals, even sitting down!

Dude..Agreed she nailed it. I am 5 years Bel Canto trained, have trained with Robert Mason, and others. Her vocal authority and execution are stunning. There are notes where she is in full head voice, where Don had to use "full throttle" falsetto. I just love listening to this song with Moriah singing, I would almost venture to say, it was the way Don heard it in his head. Now, there is No Way! She has Don in Any capacity on this tune. First, with all respect females sing in higher registers than males, Don was a full grown man hitting these EXACT same notes which are near impossible for most male professional singers. Second, Don had to write this masterpiece vocally (lyrics aside). The feel, nuances, range, the core is all Don Dokken. It's hard to do this, way hard. Did I say way hard? My hat is so far off it is on the ground for her, I can't stop listening to it, but Don Dokken is a vocal legend, she does not have him, yet......... Thanks for letting me chime in.
