Beauty Berries. Make great jelly. I eat them by the handful. Chickens love them. And they taste NOTHING like strawberries lol. I dig the bushes up and replant them to form hedge rows around my place. Great food for migrating birds.
Also there are old folklore about using the leaves for mosquito repellent. I've tried it out 5 times, even tried making a tincture. Didn't work, at all. Especially what seems to be a new breed around here. They are huge and bite right through clothing
I live outside Philly but all my fishing "Shangri La's" are 4 hours away in the central PA mountains. I usually just "trailblaze" the deer paths and I find those kinds of secluded places that most people Miss. Just don't forget the bear spray and never whistle in the woods. Really nice bass though. Great video!
Spillways like that is the best bait place ever I got a similar location near my house I get lots of bluegill and bullhead for gig cats I've ever gotten a few flathead in the spot
Beauty berries is the bush you touched. Supposedly you can eat them in moderation whatever that means and they also are supposed to have a hint of strawberry flavor to them.
Nothing better than hearing someone getting excited about catching fish.
Great looking place to be. Plus there are fish.
Its great to hear you so excited!
Beautiful place.

Also known as French Mulberries, that's what I've always known them as. They are not poisonous but they taste awful.
@@dansmith5524: That's because they're French. 🤣🤣🤣 😁✌🖖
I wonder how many people got hurt with them spiders
