Never really enjoyed anyone's acting ever until I saw Karl Urban in "The Boys". Absolute delight to watch him on screen. Anthony Starr is also equally good.
he seems so polite, chill and mild-mannered and then there's Butcher lol. Great, great actor and I have to admit I've seen many movies I wasn't initially interested in just to see his chops in action, I admire his work a lot

One of the many awesome things about Karl Urban is how physically close to the source material he is, every time. In Dredd (2012) he spends 99% of the time with Dredd’s iconic pouty lip, seriously, he always has it. And the faces he makes as Butcher are ripped straight from the comic, the smirks, the crazy smiles when he fights, it looks just like the early Darick Robertson Butcher drawings.
The boys is one of those series that without amazing actors would just be sort of meh, but this guys make it absolutely insane, love every single one of them… especially Karl and Antony starr
Yes but i feel its 7-8 yrs too late tbh... catch Karl in his mid to late 30s for character continuity. Karl is in his 50s now and so to play that physical role thos late in the game is huge toll. Jjst ask Hugh Jackman how difficult it was

As much as I love this show, I don't want it to be one of those shows that overstays its welcome and doesn't know when the story needs to END. I don't want it to become a parody of itself where every season just keeps spinning its wheels and the stories just feel played out and boring. (Like every DC arrowverse show)
