Look every single character is skilled and good, but I feel like the author made Yuuki way to good, to just dish on our boy Kirito let alone our beloved Asuna. At least the way she died she could still retain a bit of her pride as the "absolute sword", and we yuuki fans can have solace in always being able to piss off kirito fanboys when they say kirito currently would obliterate yuuki or use the "well, he wasnt in a life or death fight" to justify his literal plot armor power with the good old "if yuuki hadnt died she would also keep getting strong, so kirito would never be able to fairly beat her withouth using his plot armor power" its always funny seeing the meltdown.

While Kakashi vs Obito told a sad story of old friends fighting over a decade old conflict that could end the world with tons of impact and heaviness in the fight scene, Asuna vs Yuuki is more upbeat and quick due to it being a fight between two very nimble and combo reliant swordswomen.
