I hate/love making music I love having my creativity expressed but hate the fact after im done making the Song ive already listened to it like 200 times
Yo the trick is to have breaks when your making a beat, do your drums, then go have a snack or something, come back do your melody, then play a game on your phone, come back n do your bass etc..
Then you also don't feel like doing branding/marketing for that song cuz you heard that so many times you feel like it's just a normal ass song nothing special but when we first created it we thought that's gonna take us out of the hood you feel me?

Listening to the same 3 second sample over and over again trying to figure out where to put it until you decide that you don’t like the sample anymore because you’ve listened to it too many times 😂
I would add repeatedly hitting the space bar to play the loop and then hitting space to stop for at least 30 seconds especially when adding more layers to your melody
When you feel your idea is getting stale, look for other samples and make a new beat and come back to it later or revisit sum old and add the final touches

You will build a better and more consistent sound learning to reuse and modify the same drum sounds to fit the vibe you want instead of trying to find the “perfect” one. Even better, just learn to synthesize your own fucking drums. It’s incredibly easy.

The program looks like FL Studio... That's the beat making software that I use. I don't like using other programs... This one is easy to use, and everything seems pretty straightforward when you're using it. I've tried some other programs, but I ALWAYS come back to FL Studio
It’s actually a mixture of both but yes more clicking for sure. For us musical producers there’s also plenty jamming on instruments, epic 20 minute solos & dancing around the room until the computer screen lock comes on lol
