Different Version of android to my Galaxy Tab S2, the button flicks back to off when you try to turn on Wifi. It happened for no reason suddenly, Tab has never been dropped, exposed to heat or water. Tried factory reset but now needs a password?? What password? It was always open with no Google or Samsung account loaded.
Mine doesn't turn to the dark green colour but it turns light green and just stays like that and I can't switch it on or off it turns off automatically after some time and I tried connecting to multiple routers that I have but it's still the same so idk
Thank you. I already know that it will get fixed after restart but it's a hassle to do. The flight mode does the trick. I'm curious what cause this bug. It never happened before.
I have a galaxy S5. I literally don’t see general management in settings. I heard when my Wi-Fi symbol is dim (gray?) there’s a chance it may need to update but I can’t update without Wi-Fi because I have no data.

Thanks for posting this; the 'turn on airplane mode, then turn on Wi-Fi, then turn off airplane mode' trick worked on my S23 Ultra. Much appreciated!

Mines was grayed out also I found out my phone was accidentally in Airplane mode so make sure your phone isn't in Airplane mode that workedfor me.
Nothing of this helped me it just wont even get blue
