Auction scam or an oversight?

Update! The auction came back with a new and correct bill of sale with the right VIN and this ended up being a big win as the car is not salvaged and it is in fact Canadian registered and a 2009 model year.
My recent auction find of a 2008?2009? Porsche Cayenne that is sitting in limbo in my shed because of a ingenious scam or a clerical error. I guess we will see in the next few weeks. Also a new project reveal that I will be turning onto a short series on the next few weeks.
