The last 2 months I dove into microsoldering and learning and practicing all I can. The speed you work that wire around just amazes me. Amazing job

SDR should be a safer choice, not all flash can run on DDR, espacially the low grade ones used on these kind of usb drives.

those no name flash drives are made out of anything that ends up in junk bins to begin with

If the positive and negative PAD are shorted, it shows by deactivating the controller.

For those who have never used a fiberglass scratch pen... they are amazing things but.... those little fiberglass hairs break off and have an active tracking system on them so they wind up in your forearms. The tender skin under your wrists. These little glass fibers will stick in your skin and you almost can't see them and are really hard to pick out. You will itch, burn, and curse life.

Hi. Do you have a method for wireing up a bare chip? Bond wires. I think it's not possible without an ultrasonic bonding machine.

I am not sure what you mean by bare chip

      @@hddrecoveryservices Bare silicon die.
Once I had a credit card wich from too much bending in my back pocket, stopped working.
I wasn't able to measure anything on almost all pins. I removed the chip from the card, it had a clear transparent epoxy blob over the die. All the bonding wires were visible. Just like a windowed Eprom.

What device would it be that you will use for the flash?
