Is it true? also i've heard that huawei is banned from using snapdragon chipset. Can't they use dimensity? It's also good. i think it will work much greater with huawei's optimization.

Huawei is not allowed to buy 5G tech including SoCs from Qualcomm or Mediatek. Huawei has build their own fabs and tech together with SMIC to create 5G chips in China without US technology.

Does not work apart from maybe the web app. It is a beta still and will come out for China first so they concentrate bringing in the chinese apps first. We will see what their plan for the global market is

So for it does look pretty smooth but there are still stuffs seems a little choppy for example loading game updates or opening the camera (it takes a few seconds to load). All that’s left is for Huawei is finally have a good chip technology and great app library then it should be ready for international market.
i use the 16 pro max and most of the phones are looking more and more like ios 18. And i love it because it's a very nice look and feel. The good thing about android is that they are starting to feel like iphones on steroids. open source and you're able to download third party apps. something apple still doesn't really allow till this day and i hope they change that.

They should have at least 100k top apps working perfectly by the next version of the HarmonyOS to be anywhere near close to comparable with ios or Android. Fluidity don't matter if they didn't have apps. Windows mobile failed because of apps and they had 400k apps in 4 years. That's why they should put 100% effort on app ecosystem

Buddy its a completely custom made os from the kernel to the ui. And it's literally better than iOS so who is copying who exactly. Copies aren't supposed to be better but this clearly is.
Its a beta so yeah it comes with bugs. Its a complete new OS so yeah of course a lot of apps are missing. 15000+ apps for the chinese market are there though. Some of them still beta though
Why buy Huawei with its closed system and leave iPhone? They are all almost the same price, and the iPhone is better in photography, processor power, and application support. It is literally better in everything. What distinguished Huawei was Android, and it has abandoned it.
Huawei almost always had better cameras, battery life and performance. Even though the benchmarks tell you otherwise every day to day usage the Beta of HarmonyOS Next feels more fluid than iOS on fhe iPhone 16 Pro.

HarmonyOS is more fluid and offers better graphical effects.
What HyperOS nails is the haptics.
