We all put 2 into 1 exhaust on our ST’s. So I would like to see Harley do a cheap 2 into 1 (we’re still all going to change it, just so it will sound louder and breathe better) that way they can fit a full size saddlebag. Like mentioned above a chrome version would be sick as well.
100%…Been riding a long time on all kinds of bikes and my LowRider ST is magnificent…Sincere thanks and congrats to HD for such a beautiful machine: C-Suite, Design, Engineering, Production, and Dealer (Baltimore HD).
I agree with two out of three. The first things I did to my ST was I put a adjustable linkage on the rear brake to adjust it up because the engagement was trash and it's stock position at the same time I put a two up seat in pegs it just makes sense if it's going to be a sport touring bike it needs two up. The third thing I did was I just put bung king risers on up plus two and back plus two and the seating position was perfect for me. Number four thing that I changed almost immediately was the air cleaner
First thing I changed was adding ajustable rear brake linkage. The stock pedal height is level with the peg and unusable to the point that it's dangerous. Now I set the pedal much higher and it's a night and day difference.
Im looking to get a new HD Low Rider ST. This is what I would like to see. Better brakes, seat and suspension and the new 117CI. I also what these on my bike, ABS, Linked braking, Cruise control, Heated grips.
Another nice video, I agree with your list! I’ve had mine for about a little over a year and have 10k miles on it. Out of the box it’s an amazing bike, like you I made a few mods. I went with 12” risers, Baja lp6 light, Sp Concept Big bore exhaust (love it), I decided to upgrade my bags to the NastyHog detachable ones. Wasn’t a fan of the clamshell bags, with my NastyHogs I’m able to fit more stuff and for me give it a nice look as a mini bagger. Ended up putting on forward controls, at 5’11 I felt my knees were up a bit too high. The forwards took care of that. I put heated grips on mine, living in New England it just makes sense to have them… Especially if you’re riding in winter months. Looking to put the Star Racing 30/30 cam in it this week.
The gloves are great best design! the s and the st are hard to beat in stock form like you said, I think keeping it minimalistic is by design, you add whatever you what later, also by keeping it its own niche, it doesn't compete directly with the bells and whistles bikes CVOs etc. didn't see the link for the gloves I need a 3xl
I have an S, not an ST, but these probably all apply: 1. TPS monitoring. Definitely a nice to have that would be available on either of the dash options 2. They need to ditch that stock air cleaner. It's been a nice way for HD to jettison some stock and gently nudge FXLRS/ST owners into buying a new filter, but the fit is ergonomically bad, especially if you run forward controls. 3. Under the seat needs a bit of a re-think. The battery and wiring could be carried out better and provide more room than it does now (or at least making battery access a bit more reasonable) 4. For the ST model, it feels like there's absolutely room in that fairing for some storage right from the factory, much like the Road Glide has. Bonus point just for the S model: Put the ST rear turn signal setup on the S model right from the factory, please and thank you. Those lights being where they are now limit luggage options needlessly.
How about a functional instrument gauge? The whole lineup should have phone app for tuning, diagnosis, flashing all the computers and mapping the controls.
You’re not wrong on any of the points you made. A brake lever change with a different angle makes the rear brake feel a bit better on the input leverage but better calipers/pads would be awesome. Ride modes will get them more competitive to the market for sure and is way overdue… Seats… bro that’s literally the first I’ll change on any Harley. Harley seat pans are thin plastic, foam is too soft…. Aftermarket is miles ahead on seats and I wish Harley would take notes on that. Harley mass produces seats to fit all kinds of people for a certain look from factory. Give or take there but I wish they put more work in their seats stock form
I bought an ST, yeah it was already waaaay too expensive lol. But they are over charging if you ask me, so without changing the price they could definitely make some of those changes. Number 1 change in my opinion should be the seat, the stock seat is just terrible for a bike in this price point
1: It needs to have the low rider s gauge. Stock digital gauge is booty. 2: rear brakes are virtually useless 3: needs a 121 or 122 out the box for the price.
They need a real infotainment system !! For a bike at this price point and success, to have the Texas Instruments style calculator looking speedometer is embarrassing. Put in a real infotainment system some speakers LED lights all around at a minimum.
I don’t think we’ll see any changes to the low rider st this year. I am hoping that we get a Super Glide T sport as a revival bike or even as a new model. All Harley would need to do is design a new low rider wheel, a new 3/4 fairing and a unique paint scheme.
Rear brake on M8 Softails is hopeless, HD has been so slack by not fixing this. You buy a BMW GS or ST it comes standard with comfortable seats for both rider and pillion, HD needs to do better here 100%. Electronic adjustable suspension (from the handlebars) -imagine this, you are approaching your favourate mountain road, so you change from Road Mode to Sports Mode on the fly and by doing so, your suspension automatically stiffens commensurate with Sport Mode so you (and the bike) are ready to attack those curves in the road with some spirited riding. It's not like HD doesn't already have that tech because it's in the Pan America Special. Get rid of the clam-shell saddle bags and have more practical/larger capacity bags as the stock bags don't cut the mustard for holding much. Then bring out a CVO with lane assist and smart cruise control and top of the line sound system (in addition to the stuff already mentioned).
A Suzuki ? Did you know Elephants are the largest land animals on Earth. They are characterized by their long trunks, huge heads, and wide, flat ears. Elephants are grayish to brown in color, and their body hair is sparse and coarse. They are found most often in savannas, grasslands, and forests but occupy a wide range of habitats, including deserts, swamps, and highlands in tropical and subtropical regions of Africa and Asia.
Hey Junior, any update on the cvo st stage 2 video?? Mike was gonna cam his bike or something!! Pls come out with that content nobody on TH-cam is putting out content on what cam and tuning they're using!!! Pls pls help the community with that update!!

Chrome version would be sick
Be cool to see it get the 121 out of the box!
The trooper actually got ME last weekend on my Tobacco Fade Low Rider ST (and I don't even have the 131...yet) :)
a chrome package on this bike would be dope
HD needs to put a larger display on the bike
I agree with two out of three. Paint, risers, bars, fenders cool vid
If you adjust the brake lever nut, it makes the rear brake a lot better!
First thing I changed was adding ajustable rear brake linkage. The stock pedal height is level with the peg and unusable to the point that it's dangerous. Now I set the pedal much higher and it's a night and day difference.

Nice, this bike already comes with cruise control
More pullback on the risers

2025 cvo st low rider time 👌✌️🤘🇺🇸🇦🇲

Yeah the S and ST are a great platform to build on, can't beat the minimalism 👍🏽 and the link is in the discription box 🤘🏽
I have an S, not an ST, but these probably all apply:
1. TPS monitoring. Definitely a nice to have that would be available on either of the dash options

Wow Nice Ride MK ⚡️
How about a functional instrument gauge? The whole lineup should have phone app for tuning, diagnosis, flashing all the computers and mapping the controls.
My bet is that absolutely none of those things will show up. I'm guessing no changes at all.
Probably not these are just my wishes lol 😂
Which is nice so I wont feel bad buying a 2022or 23 from some schmuck under water on his payments. Don’t change a thing Harley.
Think a CVO model will come out next year and will add some of those things

I agree with you but I also would add it should come with led lights instead of having to upgrade for them
It comes with an led headlight
@@Marvelkid87 yup but the turn signals aren’t or did they upgrade that yet ?
In 2024 all those things should be standard on a top of the line $22-23k bike.
Harley should fix your check engine light....
I bought an ST, yeah it was already waaaay too expensive lol. But they are over charging if you ask me, so without changing the price they could definitely make some of those changes. Number 1 change in my opinion should be the seat, the stock seat is just terrible for a bike in this price point
It needs s a taller seat and different bars to fix the terrible seating position.
1: It needs to have the low rider s gauge. Stock digital gauge is booty.
2: rear brakes are virtually useless
3: needs a 121 or 122 out the box for the price.
And hand guards.
Klk esta bomba! Keep up the great content!
i agree totally. good content

Cvo and ss versions coming
They should fix the stupid kick stands switch that's making everyone crash there bikes. HD. Should be. Taken to court
I would add the ability to disable ABS!
👍🏽

✌️🔝🤙
I personally think ride modes are overrated. One of my bikes has ride modes that I thought was great at first and now it just lives in street mode.
I use to use my rain mode all the time on my glide.
@@Marvelkid87 I can understand a rain mode, but just give me the power all the other times 😂
He said stock form, near perfection? Overpriced CAP.
Trump gonna make Harley great again!
How about just riding the bike?
You seen what ya bought..
I don’t ride bikes this is a car 🚘
I disagree with all 3 of his suggested upgrades.
Get a Suzuki
You completely complaining..
