For those who want a "rabbit hole" to go down: Carl Laemlle asked the public to show up when he started Universal in Hollywood. Several THOUSAND did show up by train. The curious then paid for a lunch and to watch as many as 4-5 movies being made. As Vincent showed, there are several still B&W pics online showing cool 1910s stuff at the Studios. Oh, and Carl came to Hollywood because Tom Edison had his goons shoot at Carl's cameramen while Universal made pictures for 3 years in New Jersey (the "Hollywood" of early 1900s). You can "see" this in the movie biograhpy of Mr Laemmle (2017)
My 7 year old daughter is obsessed with Trolls and just showed her your footage in this video and she said she cannot wait to go back and see it! I think all of dreamworks land looks great for little ones up to probably 9yrs old

Thanks for explaining why Lou was missing. That makes total sense!! Oh! The London Taxi Hut potatoes are a bargain! They are so hearty & filling + pretty affordable (in theme park prices anyway!) I love the Sheppard's Pie potato! Not only are they yummy, but are really "helpful" when I had too much "Fun" in CityWalk/HHN the night before! They're my one of my hangover foods at the park! 🤣😇
Enjoyed the history lesson included... USH used to have an attraction with changing exhibits of props, costumes, etc but the section that covered the history of the Park was always featured. Unfortunately it was removed a few years ago 😑
I hope they come back and do a little more work on the street where they removed the statue, it looks a little unfinished. Can't wait for HHHN, already got tickets for this year!

I have a feeling that the statue could be moved to the Central Park area...or maybe the front of the park somewhere?? I wish I was an annual pass holder though! So many exciting things happening at Universal!

i’m sorry, I live in LA and have a year pass to universal out here. I’ve been to orlando 4 times and going again this year for horror nights! Nintendo Land is cool, it’s pretty sweet don’t get me wrong unless orlando does something wayyy different then LA, it will not out beat harry potter land! Esp with new epic universe being completed next year! Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome esp if you grew up with nintendo; i’m 38 but one adult ride, everything else mostly for the younger kids the atmosphere and landscape is incredible but nintendo over harry potter lands? high doubt it, but that’s my opinion
Shame they went with Nintendo, Sega would make much more sense for a theme park. Sega Republic was a great example of how a video game theme park should be done.
The ip in new land is more relevant. But universal does not need more kiddie rides. Universal is thrill let disney keep the stroller crowd. Kids grow up fast. Ours are tall and theme park experienced but preferred universal by age 6 without emphasis on kiddie rides.
