The 2 portraits that look kinda out of the place that you mentioned are, in fact, of Stuart Craig and Stephanie McMillan, who are the production designer and set decorator of the HP franchise, respectively. For the tremendous contribution in creating the physical Wizarding World, they certainly deserve their spots on the Hogwarts portrait hall.
I love short lines, but many people are missing out on so much when the line is moving quickly. I went the first year it was open, and I was really able to look at all the cool stuff.
So a few things. The Hollywood version of the ride contains a lot more screen used props from the films than the Orlando version. This includes the black board, desks, and projector in the Dark Arts Room. In Orlando The Unicorn Tapestry, Sword of Gryffindor, and quidditch painting in the Gryffindor Common Room are all screen used props. During the ride you can actually see the dragon again at the end make its way on top of the castle.
Yeah in Japan they tilt the ride vehicle up in the dementor scene and they are up there. Staring you down. Cool to know they’ve been in the original this whole time.
I originally went on the Harry Potter ride when I was a kid back in 2011 and the dementors used to be a lot scarier they definitely got a lot closer to the riders and maybe like one or two of the ones that aren’t in use anymore used to go up to the ride vehicles. I had to close my eyes when that section of the ride because of how intense those dementors were.
Vincent amazing video! We enjoyed it and can tell how much time you put into it! Must have taken you awhile! Keep up the great content! Hope Universal is listening and adds you to the media list soon! WACHOW!
Wow! I’m blown away that I didn’t know nearly all of these! I’m super glad you posted this, I’m headed back in July and will absolutely look for these hidden gems!!!!
WOW I’ve ridden this 6 times in my life and I haven’t noticed a lot of the stuff you mentioned about the queue line!! This video was so good thank you for this, it’s definitely my favorite ride I’ve ever rode!
It's funny if you look up Callsheets for the 6th movie, because you have the set filming for the main movie and then also shedules for filming for the ride footage. So I can only imagine how busy the studios must have been at the time if you're shooting not one, but two things. Oh, and you have to get in an actor every now and then do some facial scanning for the tie-in videogame as well.
I have been on this ride so much I've lost count (my guess is around at least over 100 times). I had no idea about a few of these, like the books rearranging themselves or the bowtruckle in the locker. Very cool video!
Thanks Vincent! We were there two weeks ago. This ride was one of the last we rode as on previous trips it made me not feel so great. I’m SO glad we did it this time though. I found myself smiling all the way through, really taking in all the scenes. I just close my eyes during the quidditch part as I do find that to be the worst for motion sickness😜 looking forward to see what they do for the new HP ride in Epic Universe. Keep up the great work! Love your channel ❤
I’m disappointed with the ride. I have been to both Orlando and Hollywood and both are the same experience. The worse parts are the spiders and Dementors. It’s way too dark and the ride was extra turbulent in those areas giving me motion sickness. I wish they would completely redo those segments and reduce the motions. The video segments are claustrophobic. It didn’t feel like flying. It feels more like you’re in a tight submarine and watching the video from a porthole. The video was distorted and didn’t do much. Overall, they need to increase the brightness of the entire ride and give it more color. My favorite Harry Potter ride is actually Escape From Gringotts. That’s absolutely amazing.
Forbidden Journey is the best themed queue but the best queue experience is really Jimmy Fallon because you can actually sit down in an air conditioned room while you wait and they just call you when its time for the ride but I know that for both practical and theming reasons they can't really do that for other rides. Maybe they could for Minonis as a themed doctor's waiting area.
I wish they had an animatronic Fawkes in Dumbledores office 😞
Congratulations on your continued channel growth, you put in a lot of work to make it happen! Well deserved!

Amazing! Thank you for this
6:00 just looked it up, the statue is NOT of Salazar Slytherin, it is in fact a statue of the first headmaster (whose name is unknown!)

Almost 20k! These secret videos are fun to watch.
Hoping to make it 20k by the end of this month

Possibly because you were in the far left seat which it gets closest to, each seat feels an effect more than the others which I find interesting
This was really good! I’ve never noticed a lot of these things before!
Fantastic video! We have been the que so many time and never notice all the things you pointed out! Thank you!

The spider isn’t a whipscopion, it looks like a baby acromantula

Ive never clicked on one of your videos faster
You were 3 hours late
I love this ride so much! I remember waiting quite a bit in line with friends before going on.
Awesome video!

I just rode it last week for the first time it was amazing

I got stuck for like 30 minutes right in front of the dragon 🪑🪑
Great video
Not sure why a bowtruckle would be there. They prefer outdoors and guard trees that are of wand quality. Their favorite snack is wood lice.
Vincent your subscriber count is criminally low. That aside thanks for being awesome.
I love universal
Me too!

This rise is hot ass. It’s a shame they wasted the castle theming on such a shit ride
