This is a GREAT starting point, I can only imagine what it's going to be sounding like come December or January. For my practice sessions I hook the keyboard up to a daw and record it so that I can easily go back and hear myself play and track progress. I'm looking forward to the updates on your progress! Learning piano and playing actual songs gets frustrating but something I noticed is that you tend to progress every time you sit down to practice. What may be hard one day is much easier the very next day and that's what helps me to stick with it. I strongly encourage you to stick with it, I'm looking forward to the recital!

Yes! Practice and then resting allows for the muscle memory to stick
