I’m interested in players who look like they’re a focal point for their offense. Might be too early for it but those are the stories I’m interested in before the start of the season. Example: Laporta was reported to have a big role in his offense before the start of last season.
@theleagueffb you know I had the blue print months ago when I went Caleb Marv Nabers Odunze at the 1.01-1.04 and snagged Nix at 2.03 for the high floor superflex QB. Looking forward to see if it was optimal as the season rolls out.
I’ll admit it’s probably being blown out of proportion, but honestly there shouldn’t be much negative reporting coming out of OTAs. It’s a lot more telling that you’re not hearing bad things about the other QBs but you are about Caleb, when EVERYONE should look good when you can’t get hit

I also see don't how he's "not Amon Ra" I'm a huge Sungod fan but like Aiyuk is a far more complete WR than Amon Ra is and they aren't far off statically. Aiyuk has accomplished a ton so far in here career without being on a position to really put up elite numbers
Why does everyone always say that drew brees was as good as he was because of sean payton? Drew brees was a pro bowl qb his last year with the chargers and just as good the year before that. The only reasons the chargers didnt bring him back were his shoulder injury and the fact that they drafted phillip rivers so high the year before. I think it can be argued that drew brees was responsible for Sean paytons success and not the other way around. What has sean Payton ever done without drew brees?
I think Caleb does have quite a bit of bust potential. I think he will have a turnover problem in the NFL, especially fumbles. I can see him somewhere between Winston and Murry with Daniel Jones level of fumbling issues.

@DevG- I’d go back and listen to the take again because I think Andrew gave Aiyuk a lot of his flowers and mentioned he should be making between $25-28m due to him being the best WR on this Niners squad.
@@TheLeagueFFB Point was towards MFGDEEZ take that he doesn’t deserve to be paid the $30M a year he’s asking for AJ and Devonta each 24-25M a year and Aiyuk surely had a better season than Smitty and similar to AJ once again considering Aiyuk is getting WR2 usage in SF Kupp at 26.7M and it was agreed you could put Aiyuk over Kupp So $30M a year isn’t really a reach IMO

Aiyuk has been great for the niners. He’s led the WR room to 2 SBs. I think niners take a hit without him. He’s the best pure wr on a great team.

In FFPC Rookie Drafts, Nix QB 5. Penix was QB 6, when you have to cut down to 16 players each year, holding Penix possibly 2 years is tough.
