What's happening Phil. I have a question and I mean no disrespect purely curious because you live there. If I wanted to go visit there is Americanl I have problems because they don't like America. I'm not suggesting that will be the case I don't believe the media. I figured you of all people could get me an honest answer. I think it would be the other way around considering they love burgers and hot dogs. use American currency preferably. This is just what I've watched from tourist Blog videos I find it extremely beautiful. Also looks like an inexpensive place to vacation that could be a lot of fun🎉
Venezuelans are generally very friendly and warm people. And most of them don't have any problem with people from the United States. For the most part they are well aware that just about any country's government and politics do not necessarily represent the everyday people. So I wouldn't say that they don't like Americans. Perhaps that's just what your government wants you to believe... What they don't like is anyone who adds fuel to the country's problems by causing trouble or even just talking trash. Granted that you may not be as well received by everyone here if you come from the U.S. due to your country's long and nefarious record of attempting to destabilize Venezuela, but I'm confident that 90% of the people here will greet you with open arms.
