Wasn't into the gameplay and story, but the music, voice acting, and cutscene direction in FF7R are incredible (if this had been a 1:1 remake I'd be constantly watching full story recuts of the game.) When I first heard this tune I was really impressed. It's beautiful.
I personally enjoyed the fleshed out story right up until it got all fked up in the last hour or so. I hated the ending though. The gameplay could've been worse, but kids these days have 0 attention span so unfortunately turn based is dying.
@@wallacewisdom I agree. Remake was top notch until the shinra building and subsequent chapters and a lot of stuff was changed or made little sense. Personally you could take the whisper ghosts out of the game and it would've been far better
@@antonironstag5085 the changes and the end make a lot of sense if you interpret them correctly.. its far better and exciting than just recycling the original... watch Sleepezi´s latest video.. he explains it perfectly in detail

Me too this is what sold the game to me. I wasn't sure, but Barrett ran up and the beat dropped. Rest was history beat it 3 or 4 times now.
I can't wait for ff rebirth I know rebirth will have similar bangers just like this

There is a 1:1 remake. Unfortunately its mobile and only android atm, FF ever crisis, it look incredible though, and has the combat you prefer
