In today’s MercBenzKing's episode, we present to you the new Mercedes A Class A200. A Full drive review of the all new A 200 all grown up. The A200 has 163 hp. Full with newest technology MBUX as well as the engine. 1.4 liter 4 cylinder.

Exactly what I thought!
It's not a failure of the vehicle. The guy gave an instruction in English that is not grammatically correct (completely excusable as he is not English but does a great job reviewing these vehicles in the English language). Rather than say "Bring me to McDonalds" the system would have better understood "Take me to McDonalds".
True but he awkwardly dismissed it lol, probably be better off acknowledging it but tbf I'd have a similar response myself even knowing this

Love this car and most of all, love the interior. Curious thing is, on the MB website when I try to configure this car regarding the interior I'm only given 2 choices. Black, take it or leave it. How did you manage to get the light interior on your car?

With regards to the petrol engines on these new A Class cars, what is the fuel consumption like? Are they getting anywhere near Diesel engines for economy?
During my test drive the car managed to consume 7.5l/100km (city and highway)
Can you configure it so that when you select sport mode it will automatically change the dash dials to the sport design?

this dude is clealry dutch. That's the literal translation from dutch to english. I tried "take me to the nearest mcdonalds" and that worked fine.
Have one. Can confirm. Utterly the best value for a luxury. Nav advances not window dressing - super integrated and extremely useful. Voice is 98% effective - you just need to remember that "purple" is "violet"

Can anyone tell me whether Executive pack has this 10.25 inch instrument cluster? or it's only available from Premium pack? If I go without Premium pack, it will be 2 separated screen (one for dashboard and one for media and GPS)?
What are your thoughts on the Burmester speakers in the A-Class? I remember being disappointed by the lack of bass with the Burmester Sound System in my A-220 in the US. I think the option is worth looking into from C-Class and above to feel the real difference and worthy of wearing the Burmester badge.

Thank you for the informative review :-) I just drove one of the 2019 ‘Edition ‘ A200 vehicles today as a loan car during a service. The A200 seems to be a noisy, raucous 1.3 L turbo... whatever happened to traditional MB model nomenclature? The 200 should have a 2.0L motor! My normal driver is an E350 W211. After driving the A200 ‘Edition’ I got back into the E-Class and everything was so much more enjoyable & refined, lovely ride, no grabby brakes, beautiful steering feel and just so pleasant-with relaxed performance reserves to burn from the normally aspirated, hi-tech 3.5 V6 (no longer marketed). I admit the A200’s new extensive touch screen dash is super, but even in less than a day I encountered some probs. Anyhow, a bit surprised the December 2019 A200 isn’t in the same refined league as my old E-Class... which itself loses out in ride refinement and durability of materials to the lovely 300E W124 that converted me into a MB enthusiast.

Not impressed. Seems like they are using the A class to bug out the new MBUX and implement the fixed MBUX into higher models like C, E, S, G version. I prefer the older model for the exterior.
